An absolute gem of a place. The whole experience of staying and dining is fantastic. By far the best steak we've had in years. Cooked to perfection sourced locally and served up with the right accompaniments by an attentive friendly family. Paired up with beautiful starters and excellent wines we will definitely be returning here.

Visited here for a meal with work. Buffet style food was put out over lunch. A curry and lasagne was on offer and the quality of the food was lovely. Staff are friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit

Stayed at the attached bedrooms. Excellent accommodation, really friendly helpful and obliging owners. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast offering was generous, delicious and piping hot. Really handy for the centre of Skipton, would definitely stay again.

What can I say about this place??? From phoning up to book to getting there and eating it was absolutely amazing. I booked for 4 of us at 5.30pm to eat at 6.15pm and was spoke to friendly and courteous on the phone. When we got there the place is lovely but the food is out of this world. The meat is reared, butchered and cooked by the family who own the restaurant and you can tell. We ordered 3 rib-eyes and a sirloin and all of us commented we had never eaten better steaks. All cooked to perfection and the sides/sauces were all fantastic. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. All in all a brilliant experience and highly highly recommended.

Lovely location and beautiful building with stunning food. We were running a little late for a lot of restaurants in Skipton (8pm on a Thursday) and were given a warm welcome on a summers evening. Travelling with a dog we needed to sit outside but the interior of the restaurant is also beautiful. Soft blankets were on hand for alfresco dining - although the evening didn't require it and the staff were more than happy to keep the kitchen open a little longer for us to order. The menu was really difficult to chose from - we could have had it all. Seeing another diner being served a beautiful trout had me going one way but discovering that the steak on offer was from her uncle's farm that ticked all the boxes for animal welfare, food miles and provenance. Recommendations for wine with each persons meal, and such a welcoming service rounded off some spectacular food. I could not recommend this place more. We went back for afternoon tea 2 days later and had the same wonderful experience. Travel to visit this resturant

Me and my husband have just spent a weekend here. The room was spotless, the staff very friendly and the food is amazing. Free car park which is lovely as its in the centre of Skipton. Our rooms was at the rear of the building and it was very quiet. We will stay again and recommend it to friends.

Absolutely phenomenal. I've lived in Skipton my entire life and you don't go to Napier's as a treat because it is expensive. You go as a treat because it's the best food you will find in town, and surrounding areas. We've just got back from having THE BEST Chateubriand (I've been to Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill and Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa in London - and they don't come close). It is cooked to perfection, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and I can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic food and very welcoming and friendly staff. One of the best steaks I've ever had, and well worth the money. Can see the food being prepared in front of you at the "butcher's block" which is a great addition to the restaurant. Would definitely come again and worth going to if you're in the area, or staying across the road at their hotel, The Coach House.

This is my favourite place for a break. Everything is so great. The rooms are beautiful. the bed is so comfy. The breakfast is so good, served by the nicest ladies. Sitting at the front on a Summer evening with a super cheese board and a bottle of wine watching the sun going down, what more do you need.

Visited for a works meal out. Booked in at short notice and they were able to fit us in. Upon arrival we got some drinks whilst waiting for our table to be prepared. The food was excellent - looks expensive, but the quality is excellent. The staff were all very friendly and chatty, and attentive to our needs. Would happily recommend this restaurant to groups and couples alike!

We had a superb meal of Chateaubriand and vegetables cooked perfectly. The wine was good and a very reasonable price. The staff could not have been more helpful and good natured. We are from Somerset and were visiting the Antique Auction in Skipton for a couple of days. The ambience of the restaurant is relaxed and friendly, so much so that we ate there again just to try something else from the menu. Yummy. We have told all our friends, if in Skipton go to Napiers. We certainly will be back.

Absolutely delicious meal, only downside for us was the quality of the ice cream and the chocolates. Easy to rectify and to increase to 5 stars. Staff were lovely!
