We had friends over from Kentucky and found this little cafe on the recommendation of a local resident, what a superb find . We had the most amazing homemade food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be calling again on our next visit.

Took the grandkids for breakfast, and you get so much food on your plate 😀. Lots of choice, even vegan and dairy free. Staff are very friendly. Good all-around place to eat. And a good selection of cakes too. Dog friendly, which is always a bonus. Definitely recommended by us.

What a find! the menu is extensive something for everyone. It was really busy when we visited a member of the staff and handed you a menu while you are waiting to be seated. Service is very good & you don't have to wait long for your food, very well organised.

Definitely, i would recommend Dale's Cottage it was very busy as it was the Christmas markets first day. The service was good considering how many were in there it also has an upstairs to contend with the staff who were practically running around ....we had the large breakfast that was a really good size. I like variety on my plate with plenty of toast, so it didn't disappoint the tables are fairly close but manageable and the toilets are upstairs. It must do very well as people were queing too come in ...I'd definitely go again.

Conveniently located close to the car and coach park and to the shopping. Friendly and welcoming staff. Homemade soup and homemade desserts. Plenty of homemade pies and dishes on the extensive, reasonably priced menu. £2.30 for a pot of speciality tea which came with extra hot water, providing three cupfuls. Tasty raspberry and white chocolate cake. Recommended and would revisit.

Had a lovely time at the Dales Cottage Café.. Great choice of well presented fayre! Delicious and tasty and well worth return visits. Helpful and pleasant people served us and the whole visit was a pleasure. Even though the place was busy, our food came in good time and everyone in our party enjoyed what they had!

The staffs are very nice and helpful👍. The baked haddock fish and prawns with mashed potato and cheese is tasty and delicious 🤤. It's exterior is very fragrant when you put a little bit in your mouth can taste very creamy and rich cheese with al dente prawns and sweet fish inside. It's amazing 😋👍

A local couple recommended this place to us as we were eyeing up the array of menu boards outside. I honestly don't think there was anything they *didn't* offer!! Inside it's a really homey, almost country pub feel, the staff were lovely and pleasant, very busy so its definitely a popular place. Upstairs, it kinda felt like you were walking into a tumble drier. It was so snug & warm inside, but as it was very cold outside, it had a dampness to it. Our food came really quickly, I ordered the chicken & scampi platter, with chips & peas. And a pot of tea. Portions were big, far more scampi than chicken strips. Mine was a dozen scampi with 2 chicken strips, would have preferred less scampi, and 1 or 2 more chicken. Tea was Yorkshire tea, and it came with extra boiled water, enough for 3 decent cups of tea. Overall, very good, great staff, lovely atmosphere and exceptional value.
