What a beautiful unassuming cafe!! We had a window seat, and a solid table. We went as it opened at 9am it was quiet and staff we friendly and welcoming. Food was very reasonable and comes with a hot drink. We had a large and vegetarian breakfast. Freshly cooked and tasty. Definitely recommend a visit, so handy just off the motorway.

Was seated quickly, as luckily there was a spare table. Would advise a quick phone call and book not to be disappointed. Food was cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious. The high teas and cake looked great, will defo be back to sample these. Highly recommend

I use the cafe quite regularly with a lady that I pa for and we have always had very nice cooked breakfasts and other warm food. Always greater by friendly staff who love chat and give a lovely approach. Unfortunately today we attended for afternoon tea which we have had previously and we was disappointed. Sandwiches were lovely but rest very poor. No selection of cakes like before. Savory snacks was small quiche and chicken skewers no warm spring rolls like last time. Everyone had same cake where as before we were asked to pick from selection of cakes small bowl crisps between 4 people which wasn't enough. Sadly it wasn't what we expected which is a shame as love coming here 😕

We booked the afternoon tea short notice the night before and they were very accommodating. Everything was made fresh. Lots of sandwhich selections, warm Mini spring rolls, chicken satay sticks. We had homemade fruit scones jam and clotted cream. A tasty shortbread biscuit and the Eaton mess dessert was beautiful. Plenty of coffee and tea! The staff were so attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is great. I felt super relaxed. I really enjoyed and will definitely be back, I may try those posh eggs on toast next time as the table next to us had those and it looked wonderful.

A lovely little cafe! We called today and were met with a friendly and polite welcome. The cafe is spacious and seating is comfy. We both had a regular breakfast, and for only £8, including a cup of tea/coffee it was definitely good value. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We will be sure to return and sample other things on the menu!

Came here for an afternoon tea to meet up with my best friend who I rarely see because we live so far from eachother. This cafe is right off the motorway so a nice half way point between us and easy to find. The food was lovely, and generous portions. Very nicely presented, good price and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would definitely come here again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice afternoon tea 😄

Best breakfast ive had in ages and breakfasts are kinda my thing. Sad I dont live closer cause it was such good value and so fresh and tasty! I really appreciated that the eggs are free range and the mushrooms tasted really fresh. Its also a really pretty place to eat.

What a little gem. We turned up without a reservation as our Grandaughter was a little hangry from her motorway trip. We were fitted in and given complimentary tea and coffee until they could take our order. The ladies were delightful and totally tuned in to our little one taking the time to serve her beans on toast almost immediately. Our meals were very tasty and substantial. Genuinely a place I'd happily recommend.

Just off motorway and well worth stopping for. Good range of food on menu, though we just went for cooked breakfasts. Afternoon tea at another table looked good! Incredibly welcoming staff, made to feel very welcome. As we left we also discovered they feed the local paramedics, so tip generously!

The only reason for the 4 stars is because of the lack of gluten free food on offer. Great place to eat, great quality food at a great price. The staff are brilliant and the place was spotlessly clean, you're shown to a table after it's been sanitized, cafe is on a upstairs floor, I'm not sure there's a lift so pleased ring them first, there is plenty of disabled parking around the back. This is a great place to visit.
