Incredible food and plenty of it. I had Sriracha Chicken skewers, served with salad and proper chips. Nice beer selection too. We will be back.
Our 2nd visit here. Tina the Manager is just wonderful. A warm welcome is guaranteed. The food is fabulous. Freshly cooked. Large portions. The atmosphere in this pub is just so lovely. Comfy chairs. Wonderful staff. Can't wait to come again. A good time was had by us again.
My partner called and we got in at 14.30 for Sunday lunch, when we got there the bar area had a few people in. The open fire was going and it was very pleasant. Best roast I've had in ages. Crumble was gorgeous too. Generous portions and attentive staff. We are on holiday but want to get another visit in before we leave.
The pub was very quaint with what looks to be a very ancient well, now glassed off. The pub is in 2 half's, the old part with the bar and some seating and the restaurant side in an extension. Service was excellent, I had the steak and my wife had the veg hunters burger with hallomi on top. Both meal
How many times are you served a steak and ale pie which is obviously bought in? Not here! Delicious steak slow cooked for five hours and served in a dish with a gravy that really does taste of ale. A warning though, do not eat for several hours before you go, enough meat for two. Wonderful value f
Service great always welcoming, great food , Lexi was good very professional nothing was to much trouble even when asked to change a few things on the dish that I didn't like but that was my personal preference they was still happy to customise to my liking
I don’t know where to start me and a few friends decided to try this place for my birthday and we left absolutely stunned we never thought we would have such an amazing meal and night the food was overall the best we’ve had and we tend to try a lot of places all over sort of a little hobby the steak
Me and friend booked a table for dinner, great service straight from walking through the door, very friendly staff and the food was excellent, nice quality for the price. Proper nice pub grub with a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Sunday lunch was lovely , like a home cooked dinner , no carvery just fresh good food , just what I was craving and it hit the spot perfectly. Staff very accommodating, polite , lovely friendly . We will be back in the near future
