We booked online (easy), greeted & seated by a very polite young lady. We ordered with her as our daughter wanted a slight variation of the menu on offer, which they gladly obliged. All the food was wonderful & generous portions too. Great experience all round. Definitely recommend.

We do not recommend the Sunday dinners, beef was like leather and all veg and potatoes were frozen and hard.
Staff were very Friendly and sorted the mistakes on the bill as we didn't receive peppercorn sauce with the mixed grill but was still on the bill

Super easy to book online, I liked how there was a comment box so I could request the high chair and let you know children were coming.

Friendly staff, good food and well timed service. A very good menu with large selection including vegetarian options I tried the mixed grill which was done to my request perfectly. Followed by the blood orange brownie.
We have 2 dogs and they are very pet friendly.

My only down side I can give, my friend is vegan and there isn't alot if choice. So she has a selection of starters.
I know there is chilli pizza and curry. But no main stream vegan..

Really pleased you were able to accommodate our dog, the free dog biscuits and water bowls are a lovely addition. Food was fresh and enjoyable. Desserts were spot on. Plenty of staff so no long wait to order food at the bar.
What an amazing pub, well run by the manager, the staff were very attentive making sure we enjoyed our visit from entering the door, we were welcomed by a very smiley young lady who showed us to our table, I decided to go to the bar for our drinks and the bar man was very knowledgeable in the drinks
With 3/4 of the place empty, with plenty of areas to choose from, having to wait to be seated is awkward.
It's not a Michelin * restaurant it's a pub that does really nice food.
Cheap it is not and maybe its a Northern thing but portion control is frowned upon, with chips being from one large potato
I had Mac n Cheese and cam with garlic bread and a salad garnish. Looked and tasted nice, my partner had chicken tikka masala. Came with nan bread,rice and poppadoms. Very beige looking, needs a colourful side salad. Will go again,nice relaxed atmosphere.
Meal was served pretty quickly considering it was Sunday . We had 1/2 chicken which was delicious accompanied by the usual vegetables and yorkshire pudding

Meeting with a work friend and All Staff happy patient. Excellent food couldn’t help us enough. Lovely atmosphere and relaxing night didn’t feel rushed by staff to vacate the table when we gad eaten which is rare now as most places want you to leave table when eaten for next booking
By far the nicest place to go for a family meal. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Todays steak was a steak to beat all steaks and OMG the sticky toffee pudding with custard was sublime. Normally desserts are microwaved to within an inch of their lives. This was so soft and spongy. Gorge
We (3) had a lovey dining experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and great value. Our dog was made very welcome too. We will certainly go again.
