Had a fantastic evening at the Royal George, new fantastic owners. Its a decent size pub with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a pint or 5. The staff are great, they're friendly and a decent chat. The drinks taste good so you know they're doing all the right things and keeping the place clean. There's a large selection of drinks too.
I've only been a handful of times but I'm happy to return again and again. I look forward to seeing how the improvements turn out later down the line with the outside.

If you are looking for a lovely local pub with fantastic homemade food look no further. The george offers a wide range of home cooked food for all the family. I would highly recommend their chicken parmo and steak pie. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and make sure you have a lovely meal. We have also used the restaurant for family occasions with large numbers the service was still amazing and would reccomend and will be using for functions in the future.
Good size portion and cooked to ordered with proper chips. Good pint at fair price. What more can you ask for. Been numberious time a d had everything on the menu.
Great pub and the new outside terrace is another reason to visit ,always clean and friendly. Great pint of Guinness.
