Beautiful setting with spectacular views across the Clyde. Lovely atmosphere, can be busy so booking is recommended, especially during the summer. Plenty of parking. Have been several times here and the servers and service is lovely. Although the last time I had to remind them to bring me my coffee - they were quite busy. Reasonably priced nice food. Definitely would keep going.

After being turned away from a more well known establishment in Largs because they only served coffees and ice cream after 7 pm, we headed to The Clyde Kitchen in Skelmorlie. It was a beautiful evening and we had a 'Wee High Tea' on the terrace outside. We chose fish and chips with bread and butter and a pot of tea, followed by ice cream. As the name suggests the portions were smaller but it just hit the mark. The views were amazing as the sun set and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and would certainly choose it over their neighbours in Largs.

This was my first time at the Clyde Kitchen and I was impressed. The prices were reasonable and the portions were good. I had the Cajun chicken pasta which was spicy and delicious. There was plenty of tender chicken. The pasta was well cooked and the sauce was creamy. I would definitely return to explore the menu or for another round of the Cajun Chicken pasta. The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambience. The staff were friendly and there was no rush. It's billed as "Food with a view" and it certainly has a great view of the Clyde. All the way across to Bute and all the marine traffic in between. Reserve a table if you want a window seat as this is a popular restaurant.

This was a surprise find!!! The fish and chips was the best I've had in a very long time!! Sitting on the very large verandah the views of the Clyde were spectacular. Absolutely lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed a birthday dinner at this bright airy and welcoming restaurant. It was Thursday Steak Night, which offers 25% steaks. This did not disappoint. Fabulous steaks cooked just as we required, along with tasteful mix of veg, hand cut chips and sauces we ordered, which were fabulous. A lovely attentive friendly staff who were very pleasant and helpful. A great team, who look very happy at their work. A well deserved 5 star review for the Clyde Kitchen and its fantastic staff. Great food and excellent value for money. Well done to you all.

Had lunch there today. Wanted to eat outside as the view and the weather was beautiful but all the tables outside where full. The staff couldn't have been nicer and they moved a table from inside to outside for us. The food was amazing, reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Every single person who dealt with us gave great customer service. And I would employ any of them in a minute. As someone who is in this line of business I want to make sure everyone knows how nice they were. We go through life and very often don't take a minute to show our appreciation to those working on a beautiful day to make our day better. Well done to everyone at the Clyde kitchen, you made our day better. Thank you
