Me and my family came to the Miners Peg for a birthday meal, the greeting from the staff upon entrance was very welcoming and guided towards our table with a friendly smile, considering the pub was busy and we had a large party with us, the food came out altogether after a reasonable time, i ordered
We had taken a friend out for the day & thought it best to book a table at the Miners Peg, which if close to her home.
We were made very welcome by the staff and, the service was excellent. All three of us enjoyed our meal. We will be going there again &,I would certainly recommend the Miners Peg
First course of startrs was excellent apart from us having to ask for napkins and spoons.
Main course took one hour and when we asked them why did they not let us know there would be a long wait the waitress evaded the question and said the ticket is up in the kitchen and our meal will be with us n
Very clean restaurant..service excellent ..food exceptional. My son recommended it to me..he lives in skelmersdale..my wife and i took him and his partner out for a meal to celebrate their pregnancy news..he visits you on a regular basis..we will definitely go back.
The staff was nice and the food was gorgeous I had fish chips and Mushy peas and it was amazing I could've gone for 2nds if I wasn't already full of the huge fish🤤😍
It was my partner's 50th birthday with a very special friend the experience in the service we received was great we all enjoyed the meal well done 👍👍👍👍 each time we have been in service is always 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lovely experience here, tablets in the indoor kids area, and park for the kids… food was great! Steak cooked properly, all fresh salad.. our waitress was lovely and the chef was presentable and lovely to talk to also!

Took my dad here for a carvery but it wasn't available. We had the mixed grill which was excellent. Hot and very tasty cooked to perfection. Friendly staff and a clean pub.
Sunday lunch... Carvery. Good food. Better meat than toby imho. Very nice staff... Great service. Group of 8 with a baby. No problem. No one left a tip... Feel bad now.. 😢

From the very start the staff were very welcoming and our bartender Liv was super friendly. I would 100% recommend the miners peg to everyone, the food and drinks are lovely and it was a nice night out.
