Welcoming reception area with the coal fire and christmas tree. Room spotless and comfortable, and the extra large bath is bliss. A good full English breakfast. Would highly recommend.

I can't comment on the rooms as we only went for a breakfast, but what a hearty breakfast it was too. Can definitely recommend for a coeliac breakfast.

Check in was a bit all at sea due to we was going at at 3 and could not be at two places at once. But that is a small matter and the hotel is first class the the room was clean and bed and breakfast was just lovely. Self service with a staff member helping you. Bar was fun at night on Saturday. Well worth what I paid and open fire is wonderful in the winter.

Very impressed with this place. Check in was a bit dodgy, but the owner was new to the building. Maybe a full-time receptionist may help. The room was excellent. Photos of the room are below. We had the family room. There were 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed the other had 2 single beds. The bathroom was large with a bath which had a shower over it and also a separate shower. My only fault was the windows were large and as there was a flat roof outside you couldn't really leave a window open. Maybe two small opening windows would be better. Also, the window in the room with the single beds was broken.

Bar staff really friendly especially the Scottish guy. Nice and clean. On the down side, the walls are paper thin. Our room was in between two families, no sleep from 6 a.m. Steam from shower set the hotel fire alarm off. Receptionist came to our room to tell us that the whole hotel were sleeping and we'd woken them up, it 14.30 in the afternoon. I asked the cleaner for tea for 2 as all the facilities had stopped due to covid, she threw her hoover pipe down and toddled off, returning some 10 minutes later , tutting. Finally be prepared for a good 20 minutes walk to clock tower, and lack of taxis

Great hotel slightly away from the centre. Decor in need of modernisation, but very friendly staff and very clean. One point, in some ads it shows a pool, there hasn't been one for a few years, so don't bother to pack the swimsuit- pictures have yet to be removed. Full English breakfast was perfect, next time we will try the restaurant and bar. Highly recommended!

We stayed at crown hotel just at the end of January and even though skegness was out of season it was still worth the price. We booked the family suite and albeit the rooms are a bit dated, they still had a nice homely feel about them. The staff were absolutely great particularly tara the receptionist amongst other jobs she did the breakfast staff were really good and the chef was really accommodating and can cook pretty much anything you as for if he has the ingredients (dean). As for the rooms they were comfortable and clean enough. The bar was friendly and staff equally as friendly. So all in all a really nice place to stay we will definitely be back in the summer and would highly recommend.

Food is amazing, hotel has changed to Hatter's, now. Family run but only recently. You can see and feel they are doing their best to upgrade rooms ect and so far so good. If you want to be the quiet end of Skegness or want to play Seacroft golf course which is literally 100 yards away then this couldn't be better.

A cheery hotel that serves good food and drink. They have regular guest beers, which are always worth a try. The food I have tried has been tasty and very filling. They do a range of food from lite bites to gastro pub delights and their specials board is always worth a look. The staff are welcoming and can't do enough to help. I will be returning again soon

Nice pub/hotel, in the process of having a huge face lift. The room we had, 101, is very spacious, double & single bed, very comfortable with a big bathroom with shower over bath. The staff are very friendly, the food in the pub if lovely & the breakfast also. We got a good Wowcher deal, not sure if I would pay the full price? But for what we paid it was very good.

Fantastic Christmas Lunch - the best I have had away from home. Brilliant staff, so polite, very hardworking and saw to all of our needs. Food was delicious, hot and plenty of variety. We have also used this hotel a few times lately for lunch or evening meals and the consistancy is excellant. Well done to all the staff and thank you for a really lovely day.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and I can honestly say that this hotel consisted of friendly staff who were ALWAYS there to help me and my partner if we needed it regardless of the time of day that it was. When we arrived at the hotel we was checked in very quickly and upon arrival to the room we found to be staying in the bridal suite which overlooked the car park. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, although the room and the bathroom would benefit from a make over this did not have an impact on our stay. The price for the room was very reasonable and I am already looking at staying here again next year. Thankyou especially to the night porter.
