Don't be put off by the look of the pub inside and out. Eclectic pub set by the beautiful St Mary's Church in Winthorpe village. Had the 16oz Rump, real chips with peas. ยฃ12.50. Yes that price is correct. Both my wife's and mine were very tender and perfectly cooked by the owner/chef/barman. They have a camping field too and motorhomes can stay overnight for free as long as you use the pub.

Last minute stop for us in the motorhome - found the site quite easily - plenty of parking space in car park with EHU (optional) they now have a large well maintained field with EHU, showers, Chemical & Greywaste, washing up facilities- better yet - food and drink available (much cheapness & excellent quality- fresh, hot and tasty ) host was very helpful and accommodating ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ The building is a bit tired but donโ€™t be fooled itโ€™s a wee gem - pool table, darts, drink & food, felt totally safe and stayed 2 nights ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

The campsite is great. Basic but has EHU, shower & toilet block, it's behind the pub. Really enjoyed it. It's a really peaceful site.
