Booked online the day before (was not a guest of the Hotel) and got probably one of the best places, by the window and clear view on the magnificent Loch.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the food, absolutely nothing to complain about, apart maybe the price that is somewhat above average.
The staff was very nice and caring all along diner.
As Skye might be very crowded during high season, if you don't know where to land, it's worth trying here. Despite some other mixed reviews that state they were sat in front of a fridge in an alley somewhere outside the main room, we got a pleasing experience and once again the staff was very professional.
The dining room was attractive and service was excellent but the prices were high. An “aged” ribeye priced over 35 pounds was small/modest size. For the prices charged, I would expect a larger more substantial piece of steak. The food was excellent but would also recommend more substantial amounts of accompanying vegetables. Overall excellent food but prices high.
Good restaurant to dine in - especially if you consider that there are not so many options around. The food is well made and fresh, and the service is really attentive. It is for sure on the pricey side, but all in all a nice stop.
Went as place was close to our accomodation. Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Dining room is beautiful, a place to dress up for. Service was spotty. Great at first and then felt forgotten and the place was empty. The crab starter was one bite but it looked nice on the plate. The monkfish was divine and my friends steak looked delicious. Apart from the crab appetizer I thought the prices were fair for the place.
The staff is very friendly and kind. The atmosphere and the surrounding is nice. The food was tasty but the meal portions are rather small than usual while the price is high in proportion to the dish size.
Two things I must mention
1. They have a chocolate dessert - it is not really dark chocolate although the name suggest this.
2. The apple juice is very ordinary and seems diluted with water.
Very tasty! The sweet potato and carrot soup starter was perfect. Lightly curried Monkfish was delightful. Well done risotto with prawns! I also recommend the apple tart for dessert.

Nice atmosphere, good service. Food was delicious, steak tastes great. Fish was very fresh and sweet, but a bit over cooked. The sticky toffee pudding was really good. Plenty of parking spaces and lounge area is very cozy.

Jedna z lepszych o ile nie najlepsza restauracja na wyspie Skye. Mieliśmy tutaj zorganizowaną kolację dla 10 osób.
Zamówiliśmy prawie cała kartę, każdy coś innego. Wszyscy wyszli zadowoleni, jedzenie przepyszne, obsługa na najwyższym poziomie. Bardzo dziękuję za tak wspaniałe jedzenie, które było zwieńczeniem naszej wizyty na wyspie. Polecam !!
