We had a great experience from the moment we came in. Erkan the manager is an absolute gentleman, his service is absolutely faultless - the food is the best food you can have in the whole area. Each dish was perfectly well cooked, seasoned just right and mouth watering.
Lovely, friendly restaurant with great staff. We were greeted with staff opening the door for us and we managed to get a table despite not booking. We were given the normal menu's at lunch and then had to ask for a lunch menu, but this was then immediately presented. Food was freshly cooked and the bread and dips a lovely entrée to the starters. Both the starters and mains were delicious and the right amount of food so we were full but not uncomfortable.
The owner was friendly and made a real effort with our son and gave him extra sweets at the end of the meal - Turkish delights, his favourite.
Sittingbourne needs more restaurants like this to help lift the town and I'm so pleased we have Galata as a great option to go to.

Dropped in for a quick drink and snack on the spare of the moment after shopping and greatly enjoyed discovering quality food with great service for the first time in a long time, going back for more on Valentines day and really looking forward to it. Beautiful tasting food, yum! Will highly recommend.

Went here for the first time as a group of 9. The food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly. All the meat was flavoursome, the handmade chips were great and so was the cheesecake! We had a few vegetarians who were also very happy with there meals as well.
The restaurant also had a nice atmosphere where you can see through to the chefs. There's lots to choose from for both food and drinks including some great cocktails.
Would definitely recommend and will be going back in the future.

Wow what a lovey birthday 🥳 dinner out at Galata Meze with my son. The food is absolutely delicious 😋 compliments to the chef 😁 cocktails spot on compliments to be bartender. Great food but the portion of rice could be a little more, baklava got a takeawy very expensive for its price. But other than that great place great experience.

This restaurant has it all, great atmosphere, fantastic food, clean and the staff were polite and entertaining, the chefs preparing the food gave a pose whilst I took a photo.
As it was my first time here I decided to go Traditional and chose Turkish Sausage as a Starter and Lamb Casserole as my main. My partner chose Halloumi and we shared some falafels, she had the Chicken and Mushroom as a Main. All the food was great, only negative was she never ate Halloumi that Salty before, but I suppose its personal preference. All photos attached.
I will be visiting this place to eat again, in fact I can't wait to try the Chicken Shish dishes etc as the meals looked really nice!
Incredibly attentive staff and a wonderful setting complete with appropriate lighting and decoration.. lovely food and drink, particularly the hot mezze starter! The menu was incredibly varied with great options for children
We had a lovely 20th anniversary dinner last night. The food was great, well cooked and presented. At the end they gave us a slice of cake with a candle as a gift for our anniversary. Very thoughtful and kind staff.
What was not to like, excellent food it was hot, spicy and very well presented, portion sizes were good with a great menu choice. The place was buzzing and sang along with the staff to 3 different people celebrating birthdays, great atmosphere. Highly recommend but book as you may not get a table.
