I enjoyed the crispy pancake rolls. Slightly greasy but hot & delicious. Nice King Prawn Curry and Egg Fried Rice. Will visit for takeaway again.

We went on a Monday evening for dinner and we were the only people at opening. A few people came for take away but they missed out on the all you can eat buffet! The food is tasty and ordered to the table so it is hot and fresh. The spring rolls were incredible. The staff were attentive and friendly. Will be visiting again.
A lovely birthday meal here tonight. We were a very large group and they looked after us all very well, despite us giving them no notice for special dietary requirements and extra numbers of people. Food was delicious as always and the eat as much as you like was a bit more expensive than usual (thanks to the cost of living rise) bit still good value for money.
When I walked in I was a bit concerned, this was found to be totally unfounded. The food was excellent, tasty and well prepared. The service was also very good.
As for the Atmosphere, it was about 4 on a Sunday afternoon, lets face it just about anywhere is a bit lacking in the Atmosphere department then. My advice is just to try it and see how good it is.
We moved to the area recently and it was the first time we ate there. Don’t look like much from the outside but we ate in anyway and I'm so happy we did! The food was delicious! It was very quiet in the restaurant, only 2 other people eating in which was a shame as they deserve more diners but it was a great opportunity to talk to our lovely waitress which was nice. I would 100% recommend it to anyone! We had the all you can eat buffet which had a great variety of food but I would say it was a little bit more expensive compared to a takeaway.
They missed one of our portions on our meal but delivered it in 5 minutes , GREAT customer service and good food.

My husband and I have just left this little gem of a restaurant , having dined there for his birthday, the owner went above and beyond for us and the food was amazing, different class, we are here for three days on business and we will definitely be driving up from London to experience this again, food, service, Ambience ticked all our boxes, thank you Dinner House, made our evening .

I have been using this restaurant for quite a while and although I've tried others always go back to this one. Food is just so much tastier. Authentically cooked and maybe a bit pricier but definitely worth it.

Left a review for this place a few weeks back when it was called Umai Miz. Weirdly all the signs have now changed back to the Dinner House.
Either way, this is a five star restaurant and the food here is excellent, so it’s definitely worth a visit, whatever it’s called this week. The sharing platter and crispy shredded beef in particular are excellent and the beer on offer is Tsingtao.
Had a great meal here, the staff were lovely and helpful. Service was fast and pleasant. We had the Peking spare ribs and they were very tasty, followed up by chicken and sweet corn soup, Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken and chicken and vegetable fried rices. All of our dishes tasted great. I highly recommend the place.

Myself and my family visit this Chinese restaurant regularly. The food is amazing, the service is absolutely brilliant. Every single member of staff are always so friendly and the food is always brought out with a smile! The Dinner House is definitely my favourite Chinese restaurant, to eat in and takeaway! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and a friendly environment! 5 stars!!
