Beautifully placed with views over the Creek. Lovely ambience and had a lovely homely feel. Staff were friendly and professional. I had the fish and chips , the fish was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. The batter was crisp and tasty while the chips were chunky and fluffy inside . The homemade icecream was delicious, can recommend coconut which I had with coffee and chocolate - heaven. The prices were very reasonable and we all loved it . A good pub serving very good food .
Well learnt about this place a year ago, finally got here for lunch, friendly helpful staff nice pint and I had duck scotch egg and a portion of chips, perfect lunch. Can see why people love it here.
Having lived in North Kent all my life, I’m a bit ashamed that I didn’t know of the existence of Conyer and the fact (not fakenews) that it has a great pub too.
Really friendly service, beautiful interior and food that both looked and tasted fantastic. Locally sourced fish for its Fish & Chips was my favourite, with everything else a very close second.
Perfect for a meal for two or a family/friends gathering. Next time I want to go with a group so we get the “dining room” upstairs.
Highly recommended.
Really good food. A real gem with lovely walks nearby - would definitely recommend
Just a lovely evening out. Lovely views, good music, friendly staff and excellent food and drink.
Very tasty food and cooked fresh which is reflected in price therefore u would pay more. Bit of a long wait for food but to be expected when it's cooked fresh. A little pricey but would recommend .. lovely setting by the river and very pretty at sunset.
Great place to relax and chill, the food and drinks are fantastic and the service is excellent!! We will be back soon
We enjoyed a lovely lunch out in the sunshine. The food was excellent and the staff very polite and attentive.
Table 12 is a must if you're having a romantic meal! Such a lovely place to visit. Wonderful food and friendly staff, we'll be returning soon.
Just called in for a drink after a lovely dog walk, very friendly and helpful staff, so we have booked for lunch this Friday, can't wait to try the food.
Wonderful Sunday lunch probably the best I've had outside of my home! Gorgeous cauliflower cheese, massive light Yorkshire, ample tender beef and gravy I could have drunk by the boatful! Will definitely go again!
The biggest bowl of mussels I've ever seen superb
Great food, great staff and lovely views
Love it here . Great menu And food. Had venison loin and fig purée - seriously good.
A nice pub that we visited as we passed through the area on a weekend hike. Okay prices, but its atmosphere was by far its strongest asset. We visited in the run up to Halloween, hence the seasonal photos. We didn't stop for food and the WiFi password also didn't work, which was a shame. The staff seemed to be aware, though, so could do with looking into it to boost customer satisfaction.
Lovely garden and the perfect place to fuel up for cycling locally. We had Wild Boar hot dog and chips and mediterranean tart and chips and both were beautiful. Perfect place to sit and eat out in the sun.
Most enjoyable visit last Sunday with my son and 9 year old grandson. Child's menu was excellent, my son and I took to the Burger and the whole food we had was excellent, so was the service and no long wait for our food, and very reasonable priced, atmosphere very pleasant, especially the gorgeous dogs that came and went, well done to all your staff. Regards Mr Derek Kdmp
Lovely little pub and quaint beer garden which is a sun trap. Found the food a little expensive for what it was. The Ham Egg & Chips was exactly as it said on the tin. 2 thin slices of cold precut ham, frozen chips & 1 small egg. A little disappointing, but it was tasty and filled a hole. Was hoping for a nice cut of ham and homemade chips for the price paid + maybe 2 eggs? Either way, it was very clean, friendly and a pleasant place to be.
The specials of the day looked exciting. Will probably go for that next time & there was a good kids selection.
Tucked away in the peaceful Hamlet of Conyer is this gem of a pub. The inside is definitely decent enough, but we like going there when the weather is warmer and sitting outside.
We didn't eat during our last visit, but we looked at the menu and decided that we would return soon and try the food which looked appetising and seemed well priced.
The Ship is surrounded by some incredible countryside and it is well worth exploring by bike or taking a walk around the area. It is a dog friendly pub and a lot of people stop off there whilst taking their dogs for walkies.
Lovely cosy pub near Conyer Creek and a nice foot path for a little country walk. The food is quite expensive and not brilliant, my meal was cold with an inedible lump of potato. So a nice quite pub for a drink and a walk.
We always love our time here, all our family enjoy this pub, maybe a dog walk too, great when weather good too can then sit outside. Came last weekend, friendly service. We will come again, as we often do. ❤️
Quiet clean great food and dog friendly.
Would definitely recommend nothing was to much trouble.
Great place after a good dog walk lots of outdoor space to sit
Unfortunately the day we went for lunch there was only one woman as front of house/ staff and she was having to do everything. Serve drinks; take orders for food. Cook the food, ond and then serve the food. She did it with a friendly demeanour and tried to please everyone. She spent her time apologise for keeping people waiting. When she was cooking it was left to us to explain she was single handed. Should have had a second to help.
Great roast dinners, the staff are friendly, polite. Would recommend.
nice atmosphere went there for lunch, shame no food available due to no chef.still a nice pint of masterbrew

Revisited the pub after 10 months to see if they were serving food and they were. Had the Orchadman plate ( their take on the plough mans. very nice, felt it could have done with another roll to accommodate the healthy portion of cheese. A nice pint of Canterbury Ale finished the lunch off nicely.
First visit and we loved the attention to every detail. Food was delicious, lots of thought had gone into its presentation and service was great. We were even surprised to find a live band which was an added bonus. Planning to go again and take a stroll around first as it's in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.
Lovely out of the way location.
Excellent for dog walking or a fresh air hike.
A running light menu would be 5 stars as we missed the food serving times. (Our fault for not checking).
A lovely pub/restaurant . Located next to a dock with a fresh decor. The service was friendly and the food was fantastic.
I came to this pub over 7 years ago ,and it is still a lovely place to drink and eat and the people are so friendly, I will be back soon
Cheery staff, speedy service, beautiful location in the sunshine. Sweet Chilli chicken with lime and sesame, Home made meatball. Absolutely gorgeous.
This is a great pub with friendly staff. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon for after a last-minute reservation and they were very accommodating. The pub is clean and comfortable. We had the set Sunday lunch menu which was great value. The only thing that really let it down was the large gaps between our courses. We'll definitely be back.
Lovely little village pub, dog friendly 5☆ serve food till 8.30pm i believe, friendly staff
Bit of a trek but worth it. Nice cosy pub and if you're lucky enough to get the table with 3 seats halfway up the stairs, you can enjoy a lovely pint of ghost ship looking out over the boats moored up outside.
