Decided to try the sun burger, oh my.! It was brilliant.! Certainly top 3 for burgers.! The cheese and bacon dirty fries were simply amazing.! As for the sticky toffee pudding.. I'd drive here just for that.! Staff were helpful, polite and awesome, nice atmosphere. Will 100% return, even if its just for the sticky toffee pudding.!

Absolutely a fantastic pub to take a run out to. Food served all day and freshly cooked to order. Wide selection of drinks for everyone. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Kirsty was an excellent member of the team and looked after us all day. Thanks 🤓. Dog friendly eating area indoors 🐾 A place for all the family🍻Would recommend and hope to return when next back in the area.🍽️🍻🍹🍰🍷💕

Got taken here by my nephew Frazer (the local village jester). We enjoyed it that much that I returned for a lunchtime treat for the wife (Well....you've gotta stay in the good books eh !! ). Yet again we experienced some fantastic food and a good selection of ales, with superb front of house service and a nice warm relaxed friendly atmosphere. Lovely place Highly recommended 👌

The staff were all friendly and efficient, the pub is a beautiful kentish country inn complete with large open fire, plenty of parking, large family friendly garden and play area for children - plenty of outside seating for quiet outdoor lunch or evening meal. I didn’t sample the food, but I have been told from many people that the food served is great too. Definitely worthy of 5 stars

Lovely pub, food was amazing, really friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you. Great atmosphere, seems a good place to work staff all seem happy in their work. Would highly recommend. Food a little dearer than your usual pub grub, but the quality was definitely there.

My friend and I had a lovely Sunday dinner here! The preparation of the vegetables was different to other places and really made the food stand out! So nice, I’d definitely recommend.

YES! A pub that ticks all the boxes. The Sun Inn is located in a quiet country setting atop the mighty Hollingbourne Hill (try cycling up the beauty like I did, you’ll soon get a hunger on from the calories burnt). It’s a traditional, period pub with loads of character, oodles of space. It’s interior is a complement of old and new. I love what they have done with the jam jar style lighting fixtures. Service is warm, smiley, accommodating and down to earth. You feel welcomed and part of the pub social scene. The food, not massive in selection compared to other pubs, approaches food with the mantle “do one job, traditional British Pub Food, and do it bloody well”. The lamb rump I ordered was one of the best dishes I have tried in a while, full stop. A culinary complementary creativity. The raspberry jus, just set the whole dish off. Beautiful. I had a scenic ride around the Pilgrims Way. You should too and head to The Sun Inn.
