Warm friendly atmosphere. I'm abit of curry critic and can smell a dodgy curry a mile away but this place gets a big thumbs up. Always fresh made to order and not too spicy. I like to taste and enjoy my curry and not sweat it out. I like the fact the owner or sometimes his son come to your table and have abit of banter, very relaxed but professional service. Absolutely adore the food here, have visited this restaurant about 10 times so far and I am never disappointed. The food and service is always excellent ! The only complaint is that I wish there was one near to where I live 😂
We’ve been visiting this restaurant since the early 1980s. We love eating here and have never found a better Indian restaurant.

Maharani Indian Restaurant is one of my top Indian restaurants to visit in Sittingbourne. The food is always delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.
I've been to Maharani many times, and I've never had a bad meal. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes from all over India. I've always found something to my taste, whether I'm in the mood for a mild curry or a fiery vindaloo.
The service at Maharani is always top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. They also know the menu inside and out, so they can answer any questions you have about the dishes.
The prices at Maharani are very reasonable. You can get a delicious meal for under £20 per person. This makes it a great option for a special occasion or a casual weeknight dinner.
Ordered a takeaway for the first time, went down well with everyone. Nice hot freshly cooked dishes and garlic chilli chicken nice and spicy.

Lovely lovely food! We went on New Year's Eve and it was busy but not frantic.
My only draw back was that we were by the front door and delivery drivers coming in and out (and most not closing the door properly) left quite a draft were we were sat, but ultimately, not a massive issue.
Looking forward to returning !
Food was excellent and service good, although I did feel the waiter was hovering to get us to move, and when I gave him a tip, he virtually snatched it from me and screwed it up!
This is a small restaurant that doesn't necessarily catch your eye from the outside but the food is lovely and the service is good.
The staff are very accomodating of different requests and are always happy to make recommendations based on your likes or dislikes.

Food was brilliant! However, the customer service could definitely be improved. Waiters kept staring at us and their tone made us feel uncomfortable and awkward. Shame really considering the food itself is delicious!

I give this restaurant a 5 star review because the service is very good, the staff are very understanding towards children in the restaurant and the food is simply overwhelming. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. The waiters knew their food and advised us on the different dishes that are available. They are very polite and welcoming. I will definitely return. Thankyou for a great experience.
