Just home from Simonstone Hall, very sad to leave this wonderfully friendly, fantastic, amazing, awesome beautiful place. We have had the best four nights ever with extremely friendly staff from the Receptionists, House Keeping Staff, Chefs, Bar and Restaurant Staff and Gardener what a superb team you are. Treacle and Toffo our Leonberger kids (dogs) were treated the same as us it was like home from home and so comfortable beds so comfy. We will of course be back. A special thank you to Sarah the receptionist (a great assist to the company) who made this possible for us and the staff that got us an extra night when they were full. They got us a a smaller room but even then house keepers were able to help us in accommodating and asking if we would like furniture taken out to make the room bigger for Treacle and Toffo. Your just simply the best, the food was amazing made fresh and very tasty fine dining to the best just think your amazing Simonstone your Mangers and the owners must be very proud of you. I would be if you were my team.

We arrived on foot after a very cold windy wet and muddy walk as the pub in nearby village was closed and were greeted by friendly staff who even put chairs out in front of the fire to hang up our clothes to dry. We were served delicious food very promptly and a lovely cup of mulled cider which was refilled just as I was thinking I might ask for a top up! Lovely place, would love to go back at length.
Had a wonderful stay here for my surprise birthday trip.
We stayed in bedroom 4, which I would definitely recommend, the room was lovely, the bed was huge, very clean bathroom, wonderful view, excellent.
Staff were friendly but professional. We stayed for an evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was delicious and good portion sizes.
Breakfast was also great. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon!
We had a lovely stay at Simonstone Hall, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our children loved exploring the gardens and our dog also loved his stay and was very much welcomed. I would highly recommend this hotel, we stayed in room 11 which had lots of lovely period features, the food was very good too �
Just got home after spending the weekend at simonstone hall for our 20th wedding anniversary - truly a superb setting, room and view devine and staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble - thanks - would recommend highly for an extra special place with excellent location and service - Caroline & Matt
I have stayed here 3 times once at a friends wedding once for the hell of it and to go walking and once with my Australian wife every time I have loved this place it makes me homesick!! I have always had good food excellent service and beautiful accomodation ... you are on the list for my next visit to the UK
A fabulous stay celebrating a special birthday.
Afternoon tea with Prosecco was the perfect way to start the celebration.
A delicious 3 course meal in the evening and a hearty breakfast the next morning (best choice of breakfast I have every seen anywhere).
Lovely hotel, great location.
What a fantastic weekend celebrating my mothers birthday...first class service from all the staff, beautiful rooms and food to die for!!! Cannot wait to return! �

Beautiful hotel in gorgeous surroundings. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere but at the same time having some formal areas. Very friendly staff, child friendly. Definitely recommend.

Only called in for a nosey as we'd been told good things about it. Very welcoming staff, lovely building, Simonstone ale excellent, menu looks tasty, will be back.
