We had a fabulous break in the Exmoor Forest Inn. We stayed in the family suite, which was extremely comfortable with stylish decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful (and patient with our children!). The food was exquisite and much complimented on by our fellow diners. It was very reasonably priced for the quality too. All in all we couldn't recommend the pub any higher, we will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

We had a six person dinner here. Firstly, the bar and restaurant are stylish, comfortable and cosy. There is superb artwork in the main dining area and in other adjacent rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful without being too in your face. The food was good and a good selection of drinks. We all liked the venue and enjoyed our time here.

Had an incredible meal here last weekend. Both the fish cakes and the steak were cooked to perfection!! Even the butter was notably yummy. They also have a board which tells you the name and location of all their suppliers. The team seem to really care and it showed in how good the food was.

This restaurant doesn't disappoint! It is my fifth visit over several years now. Their food is local and sustainable, sourced from an organic farm. Their menu options are changed daily providing a varied selection of delicious choices. It is best to book in advance via their online diary, as they do get very busy. The restaurant is nestled in the Exmoor Forest with lovely walks nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Gluten options available too.

Superb little hotel. Their literature makes some grandiose claims about quality. Amazingly, every mouthful supported the truth of those claims. As good a place to stay as I know of. Oh, and the wine list seems pretty good, too.

A Culinary Gem Nestled in Nature This lovely Inn, nestled in the heart of Exmoor, is a delightful blend of exquisite food, friendly service, and stunning natural beauty. The organic, farm-to-table cuisine is exceptional, with the quality of the meat standing out. 10/10 and the wine was superb. I was gladly surprised to see the owners around, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Despite the high quality, the prices are reasonable, making the inn the best choice in the area and worth a detour when visiting the park. The beautiful location adds to the overall charm, I'll be coming back, and thank you again Ed.

Lovely setting, food was quite good. Cost per person is around £15 per meal. Kids meal options are available. Exmoor gold ALE is a must have. Service was very prompt. Would recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment especially for larger groups.

It offers great food and drink in wonderful decor. Whilst the main was excellent plates were on the small side and dessert was limited but otherwise worth a visit. Parking can be an issue but might be due to building works next door. Allow time to park. There's a footpath for walking directly opposite the inn.

A wonderful stay at the Exmoor Forest Inn. An excellent room and the food was exceptional; almost zero food miles with their own herd and my Bavette steak (blue) simply melted in my mouth! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Thank you.

I am reviewing the restaurant only, we did not stay as we live a short drive away. Excellent food and great service. We had a family lunch on Fathers day, for 10 people. Everything was perfect. So much so, that we have been back a few times for Sunday lunch, and today for a week day lunch. The staff are well presented, polite and efficient. In particular manager Martin - he recognises guests and is attentive to the right degree. He welcomes new faces perfectly too. Friendly AND professional. The menu is small and simple. All freshly made, the food is delicious. Today we had hake with chips and peas, and braised beef with mash (although I asked to swap it for potatoes), little gem and peas. Seriously tasty and the perfect size too. There is a very well stocked bar and even cocktails and mocktails. If you are looking for a cosy lunch or family celebration, we can absolutely recommend the Exmoor Forest Inn.

Lovely traditional pub in the heart of Exmoor National Park. Came in here for an evening meal after a long hike. Had the sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious.

The welcome was so friendly, and advice over local produce was really clear and a nice touch. The food was really superb, offering not your average pub food but not too complicated either. The food was presented well, it all tasted really good and we would definitely eat there again and recommend it. The decor and interior was warm and welcoming and they were really good with our dog too!

Absolutely delicious food and very friendly service. We ate steak sandwiches from a local heard. Very thoughtfully and beautifully decorated.

We only went for food and drinks, which were fantastic. The food in particular was tasty, interesting and wholesome. The staff were fantastically accommodating.
