First time I had been there for many years. It has expanded and has much changed for the better!
From the minute we walked in we were all made extremely welcome and nothing was too.much trouble. We were a party of 8 which included 2 under 2 year olds and the staff got them some things to keep them entertained. We all ate different things from the menu and every single dish was freshly made and totally delicious.
If we lived closer we would regularly visit here but rest assured that if we are in the area again then we would definitely visit again.
It is a high recommendation from.all of us
A cracking pub. We were staying at a local B&B. on the way to Cornwall. We had booked our table on their web site, glad we did as as soon as we had Sat down so the place filled up.
Great staff, attentive and friendly. Rook our drinks order then came back for the food.
The wife ordered fish and chips I ordered steak and chips. I know some have said that the fish they ordered was like a whale, but honestly this was and it was on a sack of chips. I felt for the wife as she struggles to eat a normal sized meal, and boy did she struggle with this one. My steak was very nice. Cooked as I like with mushrooms, onion rings, salad and chips. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals,
We enjoyed it that much we have booked a midday table on the way back home.
Fab little find, lovely warm welcoming pub, good beer and great menu. Barman was great, really friendly! Parking however is a massive premium, although we were lucky it was advised to park in the little square a few hundred yards up the road.
I'd definitely recommend The Lamb Inn to anyone and everyone - they have amazing food, friendly staff, quick and easy collection (as takeaways are the new eating out) and they even have gluten free options much to my delight!
I had the Hoisin Duck pizza on the gluten free base and it was the best GF Pizza I've ever had... so good I forgotten picture in the box! I'll definitely be ordering again 😋
Really friendly pub with a great selection of real ales and ciders. Parking is a bit limited. Silverton Smokie was delicious.
Went there with the family for mothering Sunday lunch, we all had the carvery, there was a choice of three different meats and all the trimmings. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, staff helpful and friendly would highly recommend.
Very nice carvery.
The current owners have made lots of changes for the better in the pub.
Very friendly staff.
Good service

My partner had a steak and ale pie which he was unable to eat it all either as so substantial.

Good food, nice staff, nice atmosphere and a very good G&T.
UPDATE.
Thank you for hosting our wedding anniversary lunch on Sunday (27th). The owners and staff couldn't have done more for us. Everyone had a wonderful time and the carvery was excellent.
We booked in very last minute for a Sunday Carvery. The staff were friendly and accommodating and were able to fit our party of 5 in within half hour.
We were seated and told that the staff would return to us to check what we were ordering but due to it being busy, we went upto the bar to confirm it would be carvery and not off the menu. We had to ask how the structure of carvery worked as we were unsure where to go and were surprised at the size of the back room when our table was called through to collect our meals.
The back room was a long room with fairie lights and sofas, there were people eating lunch at the large wooden tables in there and the carvery cart was the opposite side of the room. It was a splendid room full of character and warmth, ideal for a function.
The pub is beautifully decorated with quirky memorabilia and tartan curtains, horse saddles and modern wooden tables. Food was delicious and plentiful and the system of collecting your food from the carvery meant that we were away from other guests.
We had 2 children with us and they ate really well, the child's portion sizes were perfect and they really enjoyed. We could have done with a little more time to sort out the children's meals and returning for our own before the next table came. My friend took the children back through to the bar area whilst myself and my partner collected our meals. We were just adding gravy to our meals when he returned to get his own food, at this point another two diners walked ahead of him as he was about to order. It didn't cause too much of an issue as he still had a meal.
Our seating area was in the bar at the front of the pub and it was open, airy and spacious. The tables weren't too close to eachother, so we felt safe with the covid restrictions being adhered to.
We had an option of meats and there were 2 choices of potato with carrots, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, peas, parsnips, stuffin and Yorkshire puddings. The meal was plentiful and the gravy was flavoursome. The staff were lovely and the ambiance was beautiful.
We were not disappointed with the lovely meal that we had and we will almost certainly be back to bring more friends and relatives.
