I was really surprised with this place. Usually I don’t have high expectations for remote cafes without any competition in close range, but The Kitchen really try to keep up to high lvl. Food was tasty, and reasonably priced. Place was clean, run smoothly and there is even outside terrace with beaut
Lovely place with plenty of seating and views of the donkeys in the fields, the staff were kind & friendly. I had a small vegan breakfast which was perfect, it was nice to not have to order a vegetarian breakfast and remove eggs as I often do. They have something on the menu for everyone & their cak
I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and it always has a good range of freshly cooked food and cakes. The menu has a few inventive items including veggie and vegan as well as gluten free. This time we had the fish burger and the garden burger with added goats cheese. Generous sized portions and
Next to the fact that The Donkey Sanctuary is worth a visit (such a lovely place), the restaurant is equally a good reason to visit. Great staff (always on top of things & nice) and the food is delicious too! We have been a few times now for either breakfast or lunch; always a success!! Can be busy
Well organized Restaurant. We stayed during our visit at the donkey sanctuary. The lunch meal was realy good. The burger was awesome. Size of each meal was good aswell! Although it was busy we got everything quite fast. We would eat here again!
The baked potato with cheese/beans and side salad was the ideal lunch with a nice view of the landscape and sea.
Our last visit here was 20+ years ago and since then it has changed beyond recognition. Parking and entrance is free to all, making it well worth a visit, especially if you have children you can take. All the facilities are free and there are a lot of them. The play area is particularly good and see
Visited here as a couple with a dog. Ate our food outside as it’s easier for our very excited Labrador but dogs are allowed inside. All the food was delicious, the facilities were clean and very well maintained
Food was a little over priced but was very nice. Cheese scone got a 7/10 from the wife (not cheesy enough) but the cheese and chutney sandwich was lovely and the skin on fries delish.
Wow! Queued a little bit but the good came so so quickly. Very nice food. Will have to find a recipe for coronation chickpea now, very tasty and loads of chickpeas!
