Excellent coffee and really tasty cakes. Great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only peeve was there were a lot of flies. It was closed when I got there at 17:00 on a Sunday and would have been great to grab a coffee then. Revisited a year later and they had more staff on, so service was quicker than before and still welcoming. Just paid another visit I saw a lovely looking chicken pesto role but the grill wasn’t working so I couldn’t have it heated. So went for the cappuccino cake, but that was dry. Service was a bit surly, different staff from my previous visit.

When you see a cafe getting smashed by customers and they still greet you with friendliness and eagerness to serve you, you know you're in the right eatery. This place is a touch of Sidmouth in the younger years, but still attracts all age groups including lots of doggie lovers. Every time i have been in here, the service is great, the lattes are bang on and the vibes are happy. This is more of a quick serve eat so you'll find lots of brunch type items, not a full menu but don't let that put you off. Toilets are always clean, however you will struggle to get a wheelchair anywhere close to them as you've got some stairs to climb. Take a break from the 5 degree temperature outside and wrap your hands around a hot choccie or caffeine hit asap!

Nice coffee shop could double as a Costa the way it is laid out. Coffee we had was good. The two staff friendly with reasonably quick service. Like a lot of places in Sidmouth short staffed so paper cups only but other than this wouldnt have noticed

Lovely café with a lot of history on display. Well done for being a dog friendly establishment that confines dogs to one area. As someone who has an allergy to dogs it's great to see somewhere that gives us humans a safe place to sit!

Excellent varieties of coffee, interesting and intriguing space, food service, good pastries... The best coffee in Sidmouth? I would think it must be or close. Highly recommend if coffee is important to you.
