My husband had a fresh crab sandwich which is a must whenever we are on the coast and I had a delicious bowl of swede & pepper soup with a fresh bread roll - both really tasty! We can thoroughly recommend the food, the staff and the restaurant. Definetely will be back next time we are in Sidmouth

We have a caravan at Seaton and on many occasions enjoy a couple of hours in Sidmouth. It normally consists of a stroll along the prom away from the town with our dog to The Clock Tower cafe at Jacobs Ladder. Was totally shocked to see NO DOGS !! On the door But this reviews not about what others are doing wrong ! I must admit another attraction to the clock tower was their cake but “Get in the Fort” I had a slice of “VERY COLOURFUL CAKE” and the wife sampled the lemon sponge. Superb on both counts So if you have like ourselves Walked past This establishment “Stop and give it a go” I’m sure you will be more than happy 😜😜 Totally

We visited Sidmouth today and stopped here for lunch because they are dog friendly, which is very important to us. Lunch was really nice and with good-sized portions. We had roasted chicken sandwiches on granary bread with a side salad and a portion of chips to share. It's a little more expensive than some places at nearly £9 for a sandwich, but we really enjoyed it. We would definitely revisit. Great service. I asked if it was possible to have a sausage for the dog, which they did even though not on the menu. Happy doggy happy owners. Beautiful views in a relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely old fashioned ice cream parlour serving sundaes, ice cream cones and also light lunches etc. Very pleasant staff and beautifully clean premises. Situated opposite the sea front with good views of the beach. Will definitely visit again

We had a ploughman's salad one with Stilton and the other with Cheddar cheese. The food was lovely and massive. A great variety for the salad and we would recommend this 😋

Called in for a cup of tea and toasted tea cake, wife had a cream tea. Both things were lovely, tea cake and scones were served warm, generous cream and strawberry jam, very friendly staff. Nothing to much trouble. Highly recommend calling in.

This is my most favourite ice cream anywhere. We regularly visit family in Sidmouth and I always visit for an ice cream whatever the weather. The ice cream tastes like cream and my absolute favourites are lemon curd and crunchy ginger. I alternate my order! I would love to recommend more but why branch out when you have found something so good!

On visiting Sidmouth in Devon as we walked along the seafront we needed some refreshments so we popped into this cafe for a lovely pot of tea for two.You can sit inside or outside and look across to a lovely sea view, this is a pleasant little cafe to go into. Our waitress was a lovely young girl.

Nice little café with an amazing view on Sidmouth sea. The service is quick and polite. I had a baked potato which could have been warmer. The muchroom soup was good. Paninis are as good as it can be. Good quality/price rapport.

A proper seaside café. Very clean and good seating inside and out. It was busy when we visited at about 4pm and the kitchen was just closing but they were continuing to serve drinks and cakes. We had cappuccino coffees and a nice hot cheese & onion pasty. If sitting outside, you need to keep an eye out for the keen odd seagull that might sell to sweep down and clean up an empty take next to you! Staff were quick and efficient.

Friendly and professional. Well organised with a good varied menu. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Though busy, tables were cleared and cleaned. Food prepared to order, so fresh not prepared. Worth the wait.

Had tea and scone with jam and butter. Scone had been warmed on microwave for too long as it was a little hard

Excellent location. Reliably reasonable food (I suspect). Moderately expensive. The chips were all a little over cooked, the garnish salad fresh, the veg burger cooked right but the bun too big & with an excessive amount of lettuce inside. The fish was cooked just right & drained well, but cooked in oil that was a bit too old. Overall I suspect the food is always cooked right & the service always functions well Large fish & chips, pot of tea, appletiser, large fish & chips & veg burger £32
