Fort Restaurant & Cafe - Sidmouth - Photo album

We visited Sidmouth today and stopped here for lunch because they are dog friendly, which is very important to us. Lunch was really nice and with good-sized portions. We had roasted chicken sandwiches on granary bread with a side salad and a portion of chips to share. It's a little more expensive th
Me n the Mrs went for a day out. Found this lovely cafe on a sunny day so sat outside. Service was great, staf were polite, lovely food and good value. Will definitely be going back next time we are down.
Lovely old fashioned ice cream parlour serving sundaes, ice cream cones and also light lunches etc. Very pleasant staff and beautifully clean premises. Situated opposite the sea front with good views of the beach. Will definitely visit again
Dropped in to warm up with hot chocolate, latte and cakes. Cakes were delicious. Drinks warmed us up just right. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. We'll definitely go back.
We had a ploughman's salad one with Stilton and the other with Cheddar cheese. The food was lovely and massive. A great variety for the salad and we would recommend this 😋
Called in for a cup of tea and toasted tea cake, wife had a cream tea. Both things were lovely, tea cake and scones were served warm, generous cream and strawberry jam, very friendly staff. Nothing to much trouble. Highly recommend calling in.
This is my most favourite ice cream anywhere. We regularly visit family in Sidmouth and I always visit for an ice cream whatever the weather. The ice cream tastes like cream and my absolute favourites are lemon curd and crunchy ginger. I alternate my order! I would love to recommend more but why bra

On visiting Sidmouth in Devon as we walked along the seafront we needed some refreshments so we popped into this cafe for a lovely pot of tea for two.You can sit inside or outside and look across to a lovely sea view, this is a pleasant little cafe to go into. Our waitress was a lovely young girl.
Nice little café with an amazing view on Sidmouth sea. The service is quick and polite. I had a baked potato which could have been warmer. The muchroom soup was good. Paninis are as good as it can be. Good quality/price rapport.
A proper seaside café. Very clean and good seating inside and out. It was busy when we visited at about 4pm and the kitchen was just closing but they were continuing to serve drinks and cakes. We had cappuccino coffees and a nice hot cheese & onion pasty. If sitting outside, you need to keep an e
Had a lovely lunch here. All enjoyed the food. Lovely crab sandwiches, my wife enjoyed the stilton and bacon panini. Fast service even though it was busy.. Recommend. 🦀🥓🧀
Friendly and professional. Well organised with a good varied menu. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Though busy, tables were cleared and cleaned. Food prepared to order, so fresh not prepared. Worth the wait.
Had tea and scone with jam and butter. Scone had been warmed on microwave for too long as it was a little hard
Excellent location. Reliably reasonable food (I suspect). Moderately expensive. The chips were all a little over cooked, the garnish salad fresh, the veg burger cooked right but the bun too big & with an excessive amount of lettuce inside. The fish was cooked just right & drained well, but cooked i
