Went into the coffee shop one day for some food and it was so good that we visited again the next day and we will likely visit again during our holiday. Becketts has a very lovely ambience inside and the staff were extremely friendly, so much so we thought it was a family run business. The lady who owns it does most of the cooking and baking and I must say her scones are unbelievably good. Also she was a extremely polite and friendly lady too (so thank you) The food was very good too We will be back for sure if not on this holiday then on another when in the area and we could and would highly recommend Becketts Thanks to all

This place is dog friendly. There is a lot of seating, yet still distanced. The food is lovely. The soup was properly homemade. The sandwiches were beautifully presented and included a side salad. Hot chocolates were creamy and smooth. We decided to enjoy dessert: a sticky toffee pudding, a slice of fudge cake (highly recommended) and a chocolate brownie. Very good visit! Thank you Becketts for a lovely lunch.

Favorite Cafe in Sidmouth, and pretty much anywhere else. We always visit when we're local. The food and service are stunning. Wonderful food and good value for money. Well run and nice atmosphere.

Really lovely cafe. As a Celiac there was plenty of gluten free options savoury or sweet (salads, sandwiches, quiche, cakes, scones). Staff were so friendly even when busy and we bought some GF scones to takeaway for later (some of the best I’ve had!).

Toasted teacake was probably fine but too much fruit for my liking, nice place & atmosphere.

This is a rather nice café, perfect for lunch. They offer an extensive menu, including many gluten free and vegetarian options. A comfortable layout gives an informal atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Not too expensive for what you get. Recommended.

We had a lovely cream tea here with our two year old on a grey Monday morning. The staff were so kind and great with our daughter, even though they later told us they were grossly understaffed - you'd never have known. Food was great, coffee great, toilets clean and I'm always keen to support the independent places!

Despite two members of staff on the Sunday we went, service very quick and the staff helpful and friendly had the crab beautiful and my other half the brie and cranberry. Perfect.
