Yummy ice cream! Some unusual flavours too, I tried lavender and white choc and was delicious! The biscoff and unicorn flavours were great too!
Lovely little ice cream/ coffee/ food place.
Their vegan range was actually delicious I had the biscoff ice cream 😍
I can imagine in the summer it's busy but rightly so as a lovely little cafe/ ice cream Parlour.
Also. Owner was lovely and I saw her catch a £1 charge error and she insisted she refund the customer. (Good to find honest hard working people!)
Update - 19/5/23
Ice cream still the best I've ever had - not a statement I take lightly
Simply the BEST ice cream in Sidmouth! Open late in the Summer, delicious flavours - we tried new flavours blueberry cheesecake & popcorn this time! Service with a smile and child/dog friendly :)
We popped in here for a bite to eat and a nice cup of tea,it was very enjoyable the staff were very pleasant and we got our order cooked lovely and fresh. The Mrs had her toasted tea cake with strawberry jam,me being the pig had a small all day breakfast. All the time we were there people we’re queuing up for the home made ice cream, must be tasty will have to try some next time as we are often visiting Sidmouth in Devon which is a lovely Victorian seaside resort.
Our personal favourite for a pastie or an ice cream, both are excellent 👍
Walked along the seafront then up to the coastal path, we only made it as far as the steps as I had the wrong footwear and it was so hot. Back in town we had an enormous delicious icecream from Tastes. A lovely relaxing day will be back.
Always a queue but worth it the ice cream is delicious with lots of flavours to choose from, going to visit again soon hopefully we can sit and try one of their sundaes
Nice cafe. Lovely coffee.
Very nice bacon roll.
Table blocking by people dragging out a cup of tea a bit annoying. But worth calling back later.
The staff are really nice.
It's going to be our go to place if we can get a table.
Still remains THE go-to ice cream shop in Sidmouth. And rightly so. The ice cream is delicious.
Not so delicious is the cost these days, however. At £4.95 for a small, 'double-scoop' cup (or cone) doesn't really feel like value for money. And other than a 1.2 litre tub, that's the largest you can buy (they used to sell a three-scoop tub). I accept prices have to go up, but this feels steep, especially when you consider the massive price disparity between a double-scoop cup and a 1.2 litre tub.
So yes, remains a place to visit, and the quality remains high. But not all that it used to be.
Fab day kayaking and paddle boarding, beach is lovely for children when tide is low because of the long stretch of sand below the pebbles, great for body boarding, great ice cream shops
As always the lce cream is fantastic been going for years taking children and grandchildren now sadly price going up but that can't be helped but even my grandchildren have noticed your getting less aswell let's be fare we expect price going up but reduce the portions aswell bit unfair 🙄
Mouth-watering presentation, fabulous range, great queuing system. Vegan biscoff worth the gurgly tummy after (am gluten-intolerant but they did warn me), chocolate and mint-choc chip almost as fine. Superb value: one scoop piled so high, one about lunchtime saw me on 'til dinnertime...
If you love ice cream then this is the place to go; they also do other food an drinks, but the ice cream is doubledelicious !
The ice cream is soo good.... It's just delish. New flavours to try. So I will be back.
Popped in for a hot chocolate, friendly staff and there's plenty of choice in regards to ice cream and other sweet treats
It's my go to after walking through the Byes and the esplanade. The usual, I'd say: a salted caramel scoop on a small waffle cone. Never fails to complete my day downtown. Yumm..
One of the nicest ice creams I ever had really decent people too
