Came here for afternoon tea with my daughter, Mother in law and grandmother in law. The food was lovely and the staff were really friendly. We came last summer holidays too and hope to come back next year. Thank you very much

What a gem of a cafe, with views of the church. We had the delicious homemade tomato soup with an enormous wholemeal roll. Coffee was excellent. Atmosphere so fun and lively, all the staff are delightful. So lucky to have found this place on our visit to Sidmouth. Highly recommend.

We stopped here on our visit for a cream tea and a drink. We were staying in the area for the week, over this time we had already had a couple of cream teas. Thos one we had here was by the best of them all. The scones came out warm and the price was really cheap too. We would happily recommend a visit here and will be back to visit soon

Stopped for a mulled wine on a beautiful winters day. Amazing friendly and festive service. Sat outside with our dogs as they tried on our hats.

I love this elegant, comfy and very friendly cafe. I've been several times and the owner is especially delightful and helpful, as are all the staff I have encountered there. The coffee is great, the decor is stylish whilst being homely, it is light and airy throughout thanks to the big windows on all exterior walls. And the food is really great. I've had their cakes before, and today I had a baked sweet potato with tuna salad, and my mum had a cheese scone with brie and fig jam (this was a mix of 2 things on the menu). Everything was superb. The brie was the best I've tasted in a long time! I have also sat in the window chair and sketched the view outside before, no one pesters you for staying too long, and the old architecture outside is lovely to look at. My new favourite cafe in Sidmouth. 😊

Lovely little tearoom slightly tucked away by the church in Sidmouth. Inside or outside seating. Fast very friendly service with lots of smiles. I had Savory Scone Tea, a pot of tea with a warm cheese scone, came beautifully served with butter, cheese slices ( a tasty mature cheddar), tomatoes and onion relish, it was just sooooo was delicious I cant tell you, scone was so tasty and light to eat. The carrot cake and milk shake was just as good and went down very well too. Very lucky find while on holiday.

Feels like it is at the heart of the community. Chatter fills the cafe and we were clearly lucky to get a table. Staff are very welcoming. Food is beautifully presented. Savoury tea (me) was just delicious while the cream tea (the boss) was excellent I am told. Forgive her though - she puts the jam on first. Recommended.
