Purchased cod and chips. The fish was freshly cooked to order and hence was very hot. Chips were nice and hot and good sized portion. The staff were very polite. No nonsense traditional fish & chip shop. I've been visiting for 20yrs and the fish and chips are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The Southern Fried Chicken has a crispy and tasty coating yet is succulent. Coop carpark is nextdoor and has free parking making it convenient when collecting.
Just had cod and chips. Actually the best I have ever had, better than the seaside! Fluffy chips and batter and the fish was thick and tasty. Great team too. Top tip, phone our order and you’ll get it quicker.

I always go to the Master Fryer for my fish and chips, which is most Friday's. The best without a shadow of doubt, never had a bad bit of fish, always excellent. I usually have to queue but would go nowhere else. Cannot understand some of the negative comments, they must have been very unlucky.
