Lovely farm shop with lots of fresh produce. Little cafe open and serving hot food which can be eaten indoors or outdoors, in the peaceful picnic area. Corn and sunflower field certainly enhances the farm appeal. Last but not least, campsite and kid playbarn also accessible to the public.
I certainly will return to Kelsey's Farm shop, and a place I know so well unto myself with many fond memories dating back from the 1970s. I had my very first work experience/job here from when I was due leaving secondary school in 1973 in the Sidcup/ Bexley area. Great to see reflections of the past here on this lovely historic farm owned by generations of the Kelsey Family. My wife and I will certainly return to buy the varied selection of local produce grown from Kentish and British soil general. Thoroughly enjoyed a chat with the warm friendly welcoming farm shop staff, and also the good food produce sold here and refreshing scenes of the farm generally. The farm I thought slightly different in layout and outlook compared to my memory of the past but overall the charm and rural beauty still remains here today. We will be back for the fresh fish ( from Billingsagate!) on Thursday. Well done π to the Kelsey family, please keep the inheritance and tradition up - this a fine example of this country's heritage and history.π¬π§ Just one question, does the shop have a bargain price day in their produce? Good luck for the future. Patricia & Chris, Sidcup,Kent.ππ10/10 A1.π NOTE: My wife and I visited Kelsey's Farm Shop on Sunday 20/2/22. We heard by heresay that the farm shop/ cafe will be closed by the end of next week ....end of February???? Notice this sign at the farm entrance on FRIDAY 22ND APRIL '22.
What a great place! A brilliant weekend brekkie menu, and lots of lovely customers and staff. Space for doggie people outdoors (rescue labs love a sausage, and were treated very well!)
The shop itself is very good and the Bloody Mary sausages, with a hint of chilli, came home for tea. And they were exquisite! No filler in those, all top quality meat. Great way to start my Saturday
This is an amazing place, perfect location for visiting in and around London. Extremely friendly staff, the cafΓ© and farm shop, amazing produce and food. Kids love crayzee barn too.
Will be back soon
Big WOW π Apples are delicious π staff are friendly and helpful :) many vegetables and fruits β€οΈπ Highly recommend for everyone πβ€οΈ
We stopped at the restaurant and we both had an excellent cooked breakfast, everything was cooked to perfection.
My husband, being nosey, asked the man at the neighbouring table what his meal was like, and was assured that it was delicious.
Our waitress was very pleasant too.
Will certainly visit again while we are walking in the area.
Kelsey's Farm Shop is a wonderful place with a fabulous cafΓ© that I have been to for years when walking my doggy. Today I heard it will be closing and I'm heartbroken. Good luck to all the dedicated staff and thank you for all the great service you have provided. You will be sorely missed π’
Lovely little farm shop with tea room. Good for walking dogs near by then stopping for a brew.
Great place for your fruit and veg, nice variety of plants and once you've done your shopping you can rest with a nice hot drink and something to eat. prices are reasonable. Always busy at the tea place when I've visited, picnic area is lovely and clean
Staff were always friendly and helpful. Good quality fruit and veg plus many other locally produced products not available in the supermarkets - and they sold Bexley Brewery beer! Sadly now closed down due to massive rise in rent - a terrible loss to the area due, one might assume, to a greedy landlord.
Good selection of fresh produce. I am a regular Saturday/Sunday morning visiter to the butchers counter and have never been disappointed by the selection and quality of meat. I have had amazing breakfasts, Sunday lunch and attended and booked several large family gatherings. The service from the waitresses has been very friendly, professional and delivered with a smile. They go above and beyond to make you welcome
Best tip - buy yr Christmas tree there. The owner personally chooses the stock each year. I have brought my tree from there each Christmas for years - the quality is always exceptional and the trees last for ages!
Really nice food in their restaurant. Not the fastest service but they are extremely busy because the food is delicious :)
Their market of vegetables, fruits etc. is really good. I especially like their baked breads.
Very helpful staff. Kelsey's has been a cornerstone for us this lockdown.
Great farm shop surrounded by corn fields. My son wanted to make hot sauce and we were able to get a great selection of chillies here. Coupled with a cafe and softplay. Lots of parking. Fabulous find.
Lovely farm shop and cafe. Good quality produce. Lovely small restaurant food excellent and cakes delicious. Out the back you will find Marion's flower shop, they do excellent wedding and funeral displays and flower arranging classes.
Better late than never
Visited Kelseys farm shop on 18th July with a large group of retired nurses. We had a great lunch here and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The farm shop was full of lovely vegetables, fruit and also lots of other delicacies. Would definitely recommend a visit here and we will definitely come again. Thank you to all the lovely staff and to the chef. Even though we got there quite late they did not make a fuss. We did let them know in advance of numbers coming as from experience its only fair to the staff.
I come here every year to buy white maize. The meat and vegetables are also great. The staff are always polite and cheerful. They treat you as family π― % great service. I've been recommending to friends all the time ππ₯ππππ
