Excellent food, cheerful and attentive staff who both provided excellent service. All in all, a first class experience. The chefs were also cheerful and friendly which was good to see. Wish I didn't live so far away, if I were nearer would use this restaurant at least twice a month. Also, thanks Cameron for sorting out the wine!!

I visited the Appleyard while visiting London and it was so good I went back a week later. I loved sitting at the high tables near the bar relaxing with good music, good wine and great food. I will most definitely visit again - every dish I’ve tried from the menu was fantastic and the staff are very welcoming

This place is amazing with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The wine list was simply fantastic, with a wide range across all corners of the globe, from new to old there is a variety to meet every taste, we opted for a Spanish Rioja which was simply outstanding - well balanced, full of flavour and bold. Food wise we shared a selection between friends, all of which were cooked to perfection, with amazing presentation and fantastic flavours. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back very soon!!

A lovely pleasant stop off, on the high Street across the road from the park. Polite and friendly staff, good service, really tasty deserts. We had churrios (so good), chocolate mousse and the gorgeous cheesecake with orange and salted caramel-Really nice fresh baked and not sweet. I would visit again for their brunches which look very affordable.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Amazing food, friendly staff, great ambiance, good wines, excellent service. A tad expensive but you get what you pay for. It never disappoints. Great to have it in Sidcup and our go to place for a special occasion or just a treat.

Went to Apple Yard Sidcup for a meal with my friend, this place is just amazing! We opted for brunch and tapas (same quality that you could find in Spain). All the dishes were amazing, delicious and fresh, best chef ever! Definitely recommend. Staff and owner were so friendly and helpful too. I would certainly go back again. Gracias!

Almost don’t want to share a review otherwise it might get too busy. But this little business needs customers more than my selfishness to keep it a dining secret. Bloody marvellous. Enjoyed the starters more than the mains (but that could just me). Took me back to Spain! Great date night location for us! We’ll be back.

Best spanish restaurant in the area. The food is really authentic. Try the lamb shoulder as sunday roast. And they had basque burned cheesecake! Amazing! 🥰

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sidcup. The diner menu has a spanish orientation, food was well cooked, fresh and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Chef’s really Spanish too! Good wine list. Had the fish, which was excellent. Restaurant looked empty from outside but was almost full inside on a Wednesday. It’s a little pricey for Sidcup, but I think it’s justified with the quality.

Many moons ago when this was Station Road Bistro we came here on our first date and had only visited once since it became Appleyard, so decided to pay it another visit. We hadn't booked a table and popped in on the off chance, finding space firstly up at the bar (sat in exactly the same place I was when we first met, adding to the nostalgia trip!) then later up at one of the tables in the bar area. Appleyard is a busy and bustling place, but avoids being noisy or cramped, with well thought out decor and seating appropriate to the atmosphere, target audience and price point. We eat some very nice Tapas, with the baby squid and potatas bravas being particular highlights while we sunk our beers, then moved onto a very nice Rioja before ending the night with a couple of well made espresso martinis. The prices are not 'cheap and cheerful' by any means, but the quality of the food, the drink and the friendly service it make it good value for money. We'll be back.

We have dined at The Appleyard a few times and every visit is a delight. The food is outstanding, the host extremely accommodating and attentive without being in your face and the atmosphere lovely. Always look forward to coming back for more delicious food.
