A very good pub, set by the river, with outside seating by the water, inside is a cosy pub with a large conservatory to the rear. A couple of ales to choose from on the bar.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The menu is fab and the food is amazing. The bar manager Simon was so helpful and chatty. Highly recommend visiting here for food and drinks. Mixed grill 5* and puddings to die for.

Good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Price is competitive and seems appropriate for this type of venue. A very pleasant visit in every respect and we shall certainly be back.

Decent pub. Me and bro popped in for a double rum and coke, £14 for the two drinks. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. It's right on the river so looks gorgeous during the summer. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my cat to this place but he made me promise I will for a quick tap water before we head into town.

Welcomed as soon as we walked though the door and taken to our table despite being early for our booking . The barmen was very friendly and polite when we placed our order . We had visited to redeem a voucher gifted to us that included a bottle of wine. However as we were both driving it was a nice touch to have two soft drinks without it costing anything extra . The quality of the food was really good ,especially the hunters chicken . The waiting staff were attentive and you weren’t left with empty plates for longer than necessary before they enquired if you had finished and took them out of your way . The overall atmosphere was really chilled out and enjoyable .

We had a large group booking. We were ranged to sit in groups of four at differents tables. Place looked clean and tidy. Great welcome. Drinks are slightly the upper end of the price range for the area. The menu had a good selection of meals to choose from and for a reasonable price. Meals came at a steady pace to begin with, but then slowed down. Unfortunately a few members of our party had to wait for awhile after everyone else had been served their meals. This resulted in on a table of four, one person had their meal a lot sooner than the other three and one person just got their meal when the rest of the table just be finishing theirs. Was not appropriate to wait to start eating a meal because it would be cold before the rest of the meals came. Other places we haven't had this delay when food is served. Hopefully it was just a one off. The portion sizes were really good, food was delicious, but some meals were hot and some lukewarm when brought to the tables. I would use this place again for a meal with family because the wait didn't put me off as we were a large group

Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Table booked for 7pm for 13 diners. All orders arrived within moments of everyone being seated. One person a no show but this was not a problem for the staff. Delicious food with excellent beers in a great ambience with wonderful staff, in particular Millie, but a great shout out to all on duty that evening.

We came as a celebration for getting a new home. The atmosphere was incredible and so vibrant and bubbly. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do more to help us. The food did take a while to come out but it was worth the wait. We will defiantly be back soon

Wow what a transformation! This pub has always been one we have gone to before heading to town and when we heard about the new name and changes we could not wait to see. Well not a disappointment! The changes are incredible! I literally didn't recognise the place. The bar is huge yet weirdly the pub seems bigger than before. The subtle lighting and new furniture just makes it so cosy. It's was busy but where as before you couldn't hear yourself think the pub was full of a pleasant atmosphere and you could tell the changes have helped change this and for the better for sure :) The food came really quick and wow the fish was more like a whale! I couldn't eat it all as so much but it was the best fish I've had in some time. My partner had steak pie and this was equally as nice. This is definitely a place we will become even more regular with this amazing new look 😍

Nice bar. Friendly staff great beer garden overlooking river. Glad I booked for food as they refused food orders to anyone who hadn’t booked which is a shame and disappointment if you’ve travelled specifically. I saw people arriving, and leaving when told no food unless you’ve booked.
