Shout out especially to Joel, who was so helpful without being overbearing and never assumed I couldn't do something just because I use a chair, but always willing to help. Great emotional intelligence and empathy.
The cooked breakfast was delicious and adapted to exclude dairy. Good coffee and I really like the funky ambiance, outdoor seating and the live music in the square!
Great place for a coffee lover! There's a large selection of coffees, you can have the V 60 or Chemex drip brewed coffee or a funky latte like the beetroot, turmeric or the Canadian (maple syrup and cinnamon) one I really enjoyed. Even a standard espresso is really well prepared and some cakes are available too. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the inside was clean and well presented. Would love to come back!
Lovely atmosphere and open an house later than most other nice cafes on Sunday. Excellent carrot cake with cream cheese rather than butter icing which was fantastic. Walnut cake was very good too. The dirty chai latte could have done with more chai spice. The full fat milk was too much for me personally
Visited yesterday for lunch after Shrewsbury half. Amazing food we harld the hangover bagel. And the sumo breakfast both brilliant! We also had the caramel delight coffee. Cakes looked amazing too definitely be back!
Took the wife and kid for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised having never been in before. Will have to go back again to try out the menu ☺
Nice place we stopped for breakfast shortly after 9am on a Sunday. We had the Sumo (full english) and the omelette and both were excellent. Coffee great too. Recommended.
Really pleasant coffee house on the square. I had a delicious cheese and ham omelette and a decaff latte and sat and read my book for an hour or so. When ordering, I was told that it is the ‘best decaff in town’ and they were not wrong! Delicious, will definitely be back!
What a lovely cafe to stumble into. Amazingly quick service and even more amazing food! Great quality , presentation and the right quantity. Between we had the Sumo, Veggie, make your own Bagel, Eggs Benedict and pancakes. All was cooked to perfection. Friendly staff made it an even more pleasant experience . Thank you !
We popped in here to grab a coffee late in the afternoon, and were met with a warm welcome from the owner who was lovely. When our coffees arrived, she had provided a complimentary chocolate croissant, which was a really nice gesture. She even took a family photo for us.
The cafe is nicely decorated in a contemporary style, and clean. The toilets are unisex, one is accessible, and were clean and tidy.
I was only visiting Shrewsbury, but the friendliness of the staff here will make sure I come here again on my next visit.
Lovely time at Sunday Sweet spot with the Ice Eye media team djing, the general vibe and set up, lovely drinks and tasty breakfasts and burgers.

Lovely coffee shop in a square, near the Old Market Hall and the Musuem in Shrewsbury. Great place for breakfast or just a coffee and cake. It's got indoor and outside seating and toilet facilities.

Had their Sumo breakfast today which was delicious. The best black pudding I’ve had - which I was told came from Appleyards - the local deli. Free range eggs, crispy hash browns, bacon from Appleyards, sourdough bread and more. Great value for £9. Excellent staff. We’ll be back.
The coffee is always delicious and the lunch I had today (called a ‘bowl of love’ or something?) was utterly delicious. Highly recommended 😊
