One of the last great remaining proper pubs in town. Hidden away in a row of terraced houses, you could easily never know it was there. The hosts and staff are the friendliest and welcoming around, the fellow drinkers are friendly too.

Lovely, proper pub with a good selection of quality beer. Locals ( of which I am now one) were very friendly on my first visit. And as a bonus your 4 legged friends are very welcome. Definitely worth checking out.
Dog friendly, real ale pub, great atmosphere, cheap pints on Tuesdays; jobs a good'un! (Log fire in the winter 🤩)
