Good for watching sport, but 4 drinks including 2 soft drinks for £14 is a bit steep

Great buffet and cheap prices for food and drink. They can be a little inconsistent but even on the occasions where food items are missing or the quality isn't as high as usual there is more than enough decently cooked food to forgive this as they provide this service all year round. You basically get to fill your plate with a choice of fresh meat, veg, stuffing, potatoes and gravy with various options to suit most. I havnt tried there other food but have heard good things

Very clean and well presented pub. Lovely helpful bar staff and management. Decent pub grub at a very reasonable price. Thanks will be back again

Hard to rate as I didn't order food, just went for a couple of pints and we sat outside. But it was a decent drink and sitting outside was nice, the lady that served us seemed friendly.. the floor near the bar was a bit sticky. But other than that it was fine

A large public house that's sits in the centre of a large estate with four separate roads leading to it. Friendly enough and the staff make u welcome but obviously a neighbourhood pub so its very clicky. Great for live sports and plenty of room to sit and chill.

Friendly and full. It was lockdown Eve and most people just seemed to be chilling and having last night good time. Staff efficient and attentive following covid protocol. Would have given 5 stars but I'm a cider man or real ale man and neither strongbow or thatchers rocks my boat.

Great Local Pub The Steam Wagon is one of those pubs that are sadly dying off in this country. Real people, real ales, real atmosphere and no pretentious posers. There is a sense of community in this pub due to its location on a large neighbourhood linking 3 or 4 estates, but it works. The landlady knows what acts to put on, what offers to put on and how to interact with people. Its a genuinely good place to drink and socialise in comfort.
