Excellent service. My friend is vegetarian and must also have a gluten free diet. Although there was no specific gluten free menu, the chef made the effort of coming out, asking what my friend wanted (she had the risotto, which was lovely) and making it from scratch so he could ensure it met her dietary requirements. That little bit of extra effort made a big bit of difference. Very friendly staff who were more than happy to answer any questions, and who you could also have a laugh with. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!
Wife and I parked motorhome up for the night free of charge in the bottom car park. Very welcoming and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Great menu and the food was excellent. The winter warmer platter to share was delicious. Home made pies and the cod also went down a treat. Will definately be returning.
We were staying in our Caravan in Shrewsbury and I wanted to watch the match somewhere. Googled some pubs and just happened to stumble upon this one. I wanted somewhere with good food, showing sports that was also dog friendly.This ticked the boxes so we gave it a go.
This is a really lovely pub, the food was excellent, large screen TV's for the football, staff were very friendly, our dog was treated like a king �, all you could ask for really. Would definitely recommend and will definitely revisit next time we are down this way.
My friend Alice was 100years old on 5th Feb so we met up and on her recommendation we went for lunch today. She said the food was amazing. Well she wasn't wrong. We were told there would be a wait for the food but it was well worth it. I normally leave chips as I am not to keen but I could not leave any of these. The blue burger was perfection. Alice's meal of Smoked salmon looked amazing too. Must have been good she ate the lot. Manager James and he Dad Geoff were very attentive and friendly as were the staff. Not just to us (You will understand they have a soft spot for Alice) I really cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. I just wish I lived closer. Well done.
We are on holiday and popped into the Red Barn for our dinner. There were 5 of us who each had a starter and a main. All the starters came out together and were piping hot. Followed by the mains which again, were pipping hot. Each dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and some of the best pub food we have ever had. We all left feeling very happy with the meals we received.
The service from every member of staff we had contact with was exceptional. We were able to have a laugh with them and they seemed to really truly care about our experience with them.
From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we had an amazing time.
We found the food to be really reasonable in price and the fact the chef came out to ask how the food was shows he is confident in his work.
Thank you for a truly amazing evening, it made a night with our family even more enjoyable.
I took my removal crew in for a much needed refuel and have to say the food and service was first class with great deals being offered before 3pm, later on we popped in for a few beers and were very impressed with the selection on offer all well priced, the pub was spotless and a credit to yourselves , staff were polite and attentive, we were made to feel extremely welcome by the staff and regulars. Needless to say this is now our pub of choice and we will be frequenting on a regular basis as well as recommending to our family and friends and our clients, thanks again, Jim and Vicky from Executive Moves.
Me and the wife pulled up in motor home to be greeted by the lovely landlord James, he came over and told us to park in a quiet shaded area of the car park with electric hook up!!! HOW AMAZING!! (With no charge as long as we had a meal in the pub) we had the best Sunday roast for £8 each and 3 drinks each which all came to less than £30. James ( the landlord) then had a little chat with us, and told us how to get to town and the best places to visit!! What a guy 100% recommend and definitely come back! Came for a meal last night. Bar staff were professional and polite, waiting time was good for our food and I can honestly say it was one of the nicest meals I have had locally. We will be back again soon!
This establishment is very welcoming. The owner and staff are always very attentive. I've eaten here a few times when I've come up to Shrewsbury and will continue visiting in the future as we always get first class service and equally first class meals.

3rd sept 3 of us went there for sunday dinner which was very good ,plenty of meat nice to have the veg in a separate dish to help your self to, all 3 of us had a pud again very good a little wait from dinner to pud but the place was very busy ,, the staff were very good at making sure that your ok , couldn't do enough ,we will definatly will be back ,,

Very friendly and welcoming. Extremely helpful and they are also allowing us to park our motorhome in the car park.
We had a meal and enjoyed the sunshine.
Our children are very "spirited" to put it mildly. They played on the bouncy castle for a few hours and with other children.
We ordered food 2 pizza, chicken wings, onion rings, nachos, crispy prawns around £35

Interesting set up at this pub a mile or so outside of centre of Shrewsbury. Couple of ales on and a cheap cocktails. Friendly pool team in bar area. Has pool table and darts but no darts when I went. Allows stop overs if eating /drinking in pub. Ps get some darts! 🎱 🎯 🚐 🍻 🍹 🍸
11 of us came here for my son's birthday today and from the minute we arrived to the minute we left was absolutely fantastic! From the service to the quality of the food, everything was bang on.
Also a special thank you to the landlord for his lovely gesture towards my son by paying for his meal. It's much appreciated. Thank you to all the team there.
