The Lunch Box - Shrewsbury - Photo album

My favourite market hall in the heart of Shrewsbury. Something for everyone from handbags and hats to crystals and cheese. Loads of places to eat and drink, always buzzing with a great atmosphere.
This market is highly compact and every unit runs productively. Fresh vegetables and fruits ,art and souvenirs, and various food centres are effectively welcome customers.
What a great place! I love all the different stalls and restaurants. Such diversity in the street food, grocers, butchers, as well as all the different places to buy so many things like clothes, bags, toys etc.
Lovely market, good selection! Quite expensive so not your usual farmers market but a lovely little area for independent sellers! Highlights were the wool/craft stall in the far corner of the lower level and the wine/coffee shop on the upper level. They even ground the coffee for you to take home!
Nice little old school market hall. With butchers, bakeries, Chinese Street food, nice shakes, bakes and cakes. Always pop in to get the butter buns you only seem to find in Shropshire. Plenty of stalls selling alsorts from pet supplies to antiques to clothes. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely market hall with a selection of cafes, fresh produce and other goods like books & records, bags & hats and arts & crafts items. We visited That Market Cafe on Level 2 for brunch and enjoyed the food very much! In particular, the English Breakfast was great! The portion of drinks were massive
Fascinating bazaar of the old, new and eclectic. The food stalls are varied, with a fusion mix of cuisines. Check out the eatery Moreish Cafe that has its own take on Japanese and Caribbean food, which is rather yummy. We also had the privilege of meeting a few friendly characters over lunch here.
A beautiful old school market hall. Great produce and products not forgetting the fabulous choice a tasty food.
A variety of stalls from fruit and veg to unusual handmade crafts to buy as gifts.
Wow! What a place. Doesn't look too exciting from the outside but never seen anything like it. Gin bar looked so pretty. Street food options really make this place. Cute seating areas make it special. Ate at Birds Nest great food lovely service. Produce spectacular too. Would visit Shrewsbury again
Amazing indoor market l, plenty of food stalls, greengrocers and Butchers along with independent sellers of their wares. Definitely worth a visit
Great indoor market, with a variety of stalls over two floors, including quite a few arts and craft, books and vinyl records, fresh fruit and veg, bags & hats and then more crafts, kitchen wares and pet stores, carpets & rugs too, and a wide variety of coffee & eating places to choose from. The stai
I've always enjoyed visiting Shrewsbury Market Hall through the years. Loads of stalls for fruit, vegetables, and more besides. My favourite, though, is one of the Butchers stalls. They have excellent home baked pork pies, and you can't beat some originally made Black pudding which I find hard to fi
Great selection of stalls. Not your average market hall, fantastic food, gifts and crafts nestled amongst the grocers and butchers. Great place to top up your larder, buy a gift and have lunch!
Award willing market hall, with great variety of stalls, food, veg, meats, plants, books, brick a back, art, records, textiles, coffee shops, cafes etc.. Has music, toilets and occasionally open evenings. Lovely bustling atmosphere, if you don't visit, your misdin out.
It was quite nice to visit and had lots of places to buy various food items. Probably spent an hour here looking around but found food cafes etc quite pricey so we ate elsewhere.
Beautiful Market Hall. Lots of lovely eating and drinking places. Plus little shops
