Conservatory Restaurant At Lord Hill Hotel - Shrewsbury - Photo album

Sunday Lunch - Superb ! Beautifully presented meals. Excellent table and bar service All served at a very competetive price considering my first two statements. An above average service, in a very nice atmosphere. I would happily recommend to anyone. Just fantastic !
Just had two nights here, fourteen of us in total on a golfing weekend. Lovely place, incredibly friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble Really great breakfast as well. . Special thanks to Lydia who was exceptional and never stopped working.
We attended for a family wedding. The staff were attentive, and friendly, and couldn't do enough to help. The venue was light, and beautiful, and the food was excellent. We had an amazing time, and I highly recommend. The only downside I found was that the bar was quite slow, and a bit pricey.
Fantastic lovely staff! Hungry after being up since 4am travelling. Even though it wasn't lunch the front desk asked the kitchen if they could get us something. Now sitting down to a lovely bowl of soup. Top marks.
Taken for a pre-Christmas shopping weekend by my daughter. Hotel pleasant, room clean and beds comfy. On direct bus route into town. It was a pity we could not get into our room on arrival at noon - we had to leave our overnight bags in the 'luggage room' (secure) and picked them up after an exhaust
Stayed at the Lord Hill on several occasions, when visiting my Daughter. The staff are friendly and the food is good. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It isn't far from the centre of town, we have often walked it and it doesn't take long.
A well looked after hotel and restaurant. Food was great and clean throughout the site with friendly and welcoming staff. The bed however was a little hard and the shower was difficult to get the temperature right with the hot and cold taps as it would keep changing to very hot water.
Attended here for a funeral wake. The parts if the hotel that we saw were clean, the staff were friendly and service was excellent. Some of the outside areas could do with smattering up, but overall, a pleasant experience.
Welcoming reception with refreshments, we were in the conservatory a very nice light and spacious area. Very imitate occasion as it was a wake. Food was exceptional hot and cold. Desserts were very good portion size.
Funeral wake. Nicely presented function room. Cleanly decorated with linen table cloths. Discreet and professional staff. Good excellent and plenty of choice and quantity. Recommend for this type of function. Also family and friends able to book rooms.
Very comfortable and relaxing. Great service. free Crispy and warm bread roll . My salmon was average. Onion ring was dripping oil. 4 stars
Fabulous Sunday lunch with the family yesterday. The man serving us is invaluable to The Lord Hill. He was such a lovely man and quietly buzzed around whilst attending to everybody's needs. I believe his name was Frank. My husband and I also stayed the night and had a great nights sleep. Room was sp
Stayed here one night, lovely little place, we had a room in the lodge at the back, nice and quiet, decent size rooms with good amenities. Had a drink and food at the bar which was great. Overall it’s a lovely place if you’re looking for a place to stay in town. 15 min walk to the city centre.
Exceptionally clean, food amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Try it before December 2019 as it may not be there anymore as owner is selling to developers 😠. Feel so sorry for the staff as most have been there a very long time! Good Luck staff 🤔
We went for a friend's wedding reception. The hotel was very clean and well furnished and the staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks were reasonably priced and the food provided was tasty.
Two of us went to Rowleys bar at the Lord Hill, Sunday evening where you can have the Sunday lunch menu from 5.30pm. Had good beef roast with 'proper' veg and a sweet, 2 soft drinks, 1 brandy, 1 tea and 1 cappuccino. £40 plus few pence and the excellent service from Frank who couldn't be more helpfu
