Enjoyed a lovely family meal from the new menu tonight � New landlady/staff are very friendly and do anything to accommodate you & ensure you are comfortable and food is to your satisfaction. Must say food was spot on - don’t let the low prices think that the food is sub standard because it’s anything but!!! Get yourselves down & support local business - you won’t be disappointed ��
Held my hubby's 30th birthday bash here, and it was fantastic. For a very reasonable fee we had use of a private function room, food for 60 and a dj. Drinks very reasonably priced, and food was spot on. The landlord is really laid back and very helpful.
Will definitely be using this place again for any more functions.
Brilliant!! Just had a family meal from the new menu. Can highly recommend the steak, perfectly cooked and great value. You really should give The Inn on the Green a try, you will not be disappointed

We had such an amazing roast dinner yesterday, fresh veg, homemade york puds. Craig is such a friendly, welcoming landlord and we are definitely becoming regulars 😉 thanks so much! Steve will be back for his roast dinners the next two Sundays!!

Reeeeeeally busy Good Friday night dinner, which came out slightly later than usual. Food lovely. Free round of drinks! Great staff. This is our local for a reason!!

Went for a meal and for what it was, I really couldn't fault it. Really hot, plenty on the plate. Checked on through the meal by a member of staff. Good beer choice!
Nice dog friendly pub. Sadly the kitchen was closed the day we visited, which was a disappointment, but otherwise a lovely pub.

Was here for the wake of a relative. They looked after us very well with a very nice buffet. Large place that shows sports. Will drop in again if I'm in Shrewsbury.

This is my new local. It's a great pub. The staff are great, the beer is excellent, love the garden. Child and dog friendly. Feel lucky having it so close to home.

Came with friends to enjoy the beer garden. Service was quick and friendly. Beer was excellent. Menu looked good, didn't try this time but we're going back next week with another group of friends. Highly recommend.

We had our golfing group Christmas dinner at the Inn on the Green today. The food was delicious, the staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. They couldn’t have looked after us any better. All our group thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and would strongly recommend the venue to any clubs or groups considering holding their Christmas or New Year function. Lastly not only was the food cooked to perfection and was extremely plentiful, it was extremely good value for money. Well done Rachel and her fantastic staff and keep up the good work.

Nice little boozer, the ale sold is at the best condition possible, no guest ale pump unfortunately. Staff wonderful, will be visiting again. Hobgoblin gold is pretty damn good.

Nice pub, recent make over has really renewed it. Looks fantastic inside and out. Good friendly staff, great selection of drinks, 3 dartboards, brand new pool table and TVs for popular sports. It has a very nice beer garden now and also has a good sized back room for functions and parties, cheap San Miguel too which is very important!
Stopped off on the way home from a trip, lovely place to eat. Reasonable price, quick food and genuinely great quality with big portions
