We had a 2 course meal and the bottomless prosecco. Both courses were very good quality. Attentive service and a lovely setting. Would recommend for a high quality menu

Fantastic place. Have been here several times with friends and with family. The food is first class and the staff are polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We even asked for items that were not on the menu. No problem. Love it.

Went in on a Sunday during their roast and pizza day, I had a pizza, and my wife had a roast. Both were really good. Service was very friendly and quick although we were the only ones eating at the time 😅 The vibes were great though and prices are decent for the quality of food.

Went on a Thursday evening in August. A very different sort of place but we loved it. Food was really good and the portions are very generous. It deserves to be busier than it was on that night. I would suggest they promote it more outside to encourage more diners. Its a few yards from the Castle entrance

We we're lucky enough to find this when needing a bite to eat with limited time. Honestly the best Burger I've had in a very long time. It was cooked to perfection and the ingredients so fresh! I will be coming back here 100%

A really warm welcome and a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal and a drink. We had a burger and beer deal for £10 each. Both food and beer were great. We had the halloumi burger with fries, which was delicious. The staff were absolutely lovely. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely little find. Our first time in Shrewsbury and this place is somewhere to come again. The staff here a so friendly and welcoming. Only popped in for a quick drink and ended up eating and staying a few hours. The pizza was superb. Freshly made and great value for money. I can also highly recommend the Halloumi fries.!

This is really some fantastic experience. When it comes to the staff. This is the future where a welcome gets You smiling. Then the food. The main part of any course naturally is the meat. Its juicy, favours so perfect. Remember. When catering. You can add, but cannot take away. Which is why the taste really gets You smiling. Set and done. So. Staff. Food. A true future for catering as a experience to keep returning for.

We had a family lunch at St Nicholas today and it was fantastic. The service was amazing, the food was wonderful with such huge plates (luckily they had takeaway boxes for us to take some away!). Amazing experience and we will be back (all 14 of us!)

Brilliant bar & restaurant for food, service and atmosphere! Aiden was our host and he was excellent, very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. He was very patient with our 1 year old and went above and beyond to keep her entertained and happy during our family meal, he really is a credit to the place. Highly recommend the mezze and chicken kebab. Thanks again to Aiden and the rest of the staff.

Nice breakfast and cozy atmosphere. This is very good bar and cafe in Shrewsbury. They have vegetarian and vegan options too. I love the vegetarian English grill breakfast. Normally it has egg in the menu. But the chef cooked it without egg and the breakfast goes vegan. 😊 I recommend that.

What a little gem of a place! We travelled from Derby to meet some family for a birthday dinner, and were not disappointed. The roast dinners were amazing, meat was cooked to perfection and the veg was delicious. We ordered pudding but unfortunately, most were sold out, however the portions of the chorros were so big, we happily shared them. The man serving our table was so friendly and chatty, he couldn't do enough for us. Well worth the drive to here and we will definitely be clback next time we are in the shire.

We ordered a breakfast bap and we got a monster breakfast ciabatta! Value town! This is quality stuff too, two lovely big snags grilled tastefully to a golden brown and two gorgeously runny fried eggs. Wallop! The coffee is great too, and it's service with a smile in the lush surroundings of Shrewsbury Castle, an area littered with overpriced tourist-traps - but I can wholeheartedly recommend a trip to At Nicholas on your next visit! 🔥9/10🔥

This place is a hidden gem in Shrewsbury - enjoyed another fab evening meal here last night. Great pizzas, sides and drinks all round. The service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive - ensuring we had everything we needed. Excellent value for money as well - well worth taking advantage of the midweek Pizza & Beer for £10!

Visited for lunch during a short stay. We opted for sandwiches with a side of chips. The sandwich was very large and the chips, absolutely delicious! Some of the best chips I've ever eaten. The prices were very reasonable and the service ok. Two sandwiches, chips and a coffee with change from £20! Would recommend for lunch and the menu looked good for evening too.

Wandered upon this nice little restaurant on the way to the prison. Everyone was very welcoming and they went out of their way to look after us! Food was lovely and reasonably priced, too. Would definitely recommend :)
