A great day out. The farm shop is well stocked with a variety of local products. The food at the café was really good and staff were friendly The staff at the falconry centre were great, able to accommodate us even though they were hosting a private event as well. A real hidden gem all round!
Love walking around the area with the dogs . Stopping for a coffee or some lunch sometime too. I sometimes feel staff are a little stressed and appear unfriendly , which is a shame.
Lovely place to go for a nice relaxing walk with the dog (Chewbacca) and the ice-cream from the farm shop was delicious 😋
I liked the look of the place and the facilities. However the play ground and tractor circuit only cater for more toddler aged children. The trail to gather letters to unscramble a word to receive a prize,it turns out, (after considerable time and effort that the letters on the boards were incorrect
Food is great. We had the full breakfast each. Only issue we had was after we arrived the place wasn't too busy but once it picked up and everyone was trying to pay and leave at the front till the staff struggled to find everyone's orders correctly which held a lot of people up from trying to leave.
Just stopped in for coffee and cake and a chat with friends. Really enjoyed it. The cafe had a good selection of cake and scones. The coffee was great. The service was friendly, helpful and prompt. A lovely break. The farm shop was great too!
Had breakfast /brunch at Battlefield today. Lovely setting, good quality food and friendly service. But value for money - no not really. Price for breakfast was ouch! They have a lovely farm shop and a good little exhibition about Harry Hotspur and the 2 Henry's.
Thoroughly enjoyable! The reenactments were great. There was a guided tour down to Battlefield church, and we were hugely impressed with the detailed historical information that was relayed to us. Plenty of pavilions selling medieval wares, and all contributors to the event were in period costume, a
A lovely experience. The food in the cafe is absolutely fabulous. And if you can afford to buy in the shop, the quality is second to none.
It was great, watch both the Scots and the English fighting each other with bow arrows on the battlefield.
