Gorgeous home cooked fresh to order food. Lovely location. Super friendly and accommodating. Spoilt for choice on the menu which is really reasonably priced. Only 17 miles from home (by bike) but feels like we’re on holiday. We’ll be back!

Not been here for many years, we were visiting friends in the area so decided to see if we could get a table so called up and was told yes no problem. Service was very good greeted by name, ordered drinks sat down told what Sunday lunch was available, ordered it and it arrived with in 10 minutes, cooked beautifully all fresh vegetables. Won't leave it so long next time 🥰

Such a welcoming landlord! We couldn't comment on the food as they had been so busy and sold out of their entire menu! The landlord took pity on us however and gave us the last bowl of chips. They serve an excellent pint of local beer. We look forward to going back and trying the food properly.

Felt really looked after when we turned up for a meal to remember my late father. He used to take me to the Rodney nearly 40 years ago. Sunday dinner was very good and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Called in on Saturday dinner to see if we could arrange a overnight stay in the carpark in the motorhome. We were made to feel very welcome and had a few drinks and booked a table for the evening. The food was great and we had to book a table for Sunday lunch time to try that, we were not disappointed at all, great service, great atmosphere and definitely be back soon thanks for a great weekend

Always fantastic meals and drinks at The Admiral Rodney, Stu and the team are a great bunch, the food is top notch and the pint of Guinness gets my Irish approval!

Great Sunday roast - not a plateful of frozen veggies, hand made desserts too. We took my elderly mum in law which can be difficult sometimes but the landlord was very kind and accommodating, he even made a fuss of her when she asked for biscuits to go with her cup of tea! Would go again and recommend.
