Best hot dog and burger in town!!!!! Missus really enjoyed her burger! Had two milk shakes, burger, fries and a hot dog and were left with some change can not grumble about the price at all. The new decor is allot nicer!! Love the pool table. Staff are lovely. Recommend to any one reading this. Went to biggies, enjoyed biggies but i feel that #severnsocial is much better value for money and much better quality. Thankyou guys!!

Popped in here on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't busy but that didn't stop the enthusiasm of the loveliest smiley barman! I had the classic burger and it was the best burger I've ever had in my life! Even the lager tasted better and colder than other places. A great place, i will return on an evening out and expect it will have a great relaxed atmosphere.

Was my first experience at Severn Social this afternoon and I must say I was very impressed. I’d like to thank all the staff for their hard work as there was a huge party of 21 of us celebrating my sisters 30th Birthday. Thank you for making us feel very welcome and for taking care of us xx

I won a competition for a £50 drinks tab and 2 free burgers and fries at the dining club event yesterday, the food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff! Such a great event and will definitely be attending the next one!

Great food, great service, happy hour cocktails and super selection of ale/beer, footy on in our booth, kids had wifi and we played table football while the food was being made! Perfect Sunday #Severnsocial evening. Same time next week? 👌🏻

My partner and I went here this evening. It's table service. We both had steak and chips but with different sauces. The steak was the best we have had in years . Our waitress was attentive and polite. We will definitely be going back here when next in Shrewsbury. Definitely worth walking across the bridge into Frankwell for.

Always good to watch the football. TVs everywhere. It can get really busy here, so make sure, if you're going to watch your fave team, to get there early and get a set in one of the booths or the bar area. Food here is American style. Absolutely fantastic. Massive portions, for a reasonable price. The staff are all extremely friendly and have great banter!

Really good service with great food and fancy cocktails. My partner had a cocktail recommended to her by a member of staff and she wasn't sure if she would like it but they said they would happily swap it if she didn't.

FLAMINGO bar, I think it's called, part of Severn social, is definitely worth a visit. Service is amazing, cocktails are amazing, decor amazing. Excellent job! Thank you to the waitress from Bicton. She is great at her job! Good luck at uni. She is a natural upseller...so friendly and likeable. Thanks. See you soon.

The cocktails here are so nice, the staff are also lovely and are always making sure that you don't have an empty glass on your table! Since I found out about this place, I've been going here every time I go out with friends.

On the basis of the £60 paid for the room, this feels like the best value ever. Modern, clean and well-designed. There’s slightly too much oatmeal on the walls but the amazing cushions and throws compensate. They all combined to make a calm and restful Thursday night. Weekends might be busier and nosier but weekday stays I can strongly endorse.

We went to the new'ish Severn Social bar. Don't let the exterior put you off with its pink flamingo. The venue is long and narrow and layed out for social distancing with palms between each table. Some interesting artwork along the walls and the background music matches the atmosphere.

Very lovely hotel, great price. Loved the wall art driving to the car park. Free parking and WiFi. Only downside is if you have a room on the roadside it's very noisy, the windows are very thin so you can hear all traffic and had bin lorries outside very loud and early

'Hotel' room was fine- good size, clean, big bathroom. We were on top floor ( quite a few stairs) which was good at this time as there was music fest or something here and the pub next door- extremely loud from ground floor but ok on our floor. Wouldnt call it an hotel as they dont do breakfast ( did notice do meals later in day). Checkin was a bit messy as they were so busy but we were eventually shown to our room personally. Carpark was awkward to find and limited spaces ( we had ladt one). Hotel was very central- easy access to loads of places- excellent location. My hubby says it is expensive for room only ( one of most expensive) but we enjoyed our stay. Will visit Shrewsbury again.

Booked accommodation for my family here on the ferry back from Ireland at rather short notice. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was very new and very clean which we werent expecting for the very cheap price. It has a late checkout time at no extra cost. I noticed it has very good disabled facilities/access even a lift. The rooms here were better than the quality we received at the novatel in hammersmith at a fraction of the price. Although we did not purchase from the pub or kitchen whilst there, the service we received in accommodation far outgrows the 2 stars it has been given. Would definitely stay here again.
