After last visit not great food. But today all meals for 5 of us were delicious cooked perfection & tasty, puddings were nice too.
Surprised how busy it was for a Tuesday lunchtime, saying that the standard of service didn't drop an ounce... We ordered via the app and food and drinks were served very quickly. Only downside was one steak on a mixed grill wasn't the best. But mine was on point. Good value for money and good vibe.
We’ve been keeping an eye on progress whilst the place has been renovated, and thought we would pop in on our lunch time work break, and it didn’t disappoint. The decor looks amazing still in keeping with the age of the pub but with a modern twist, the food was ridiculously tasty and yummy, Food cam
Really good service by all of the team. Lovely meal cooked by the kitchen staff. Yum!
Really enjoyed the meal especially at reasonable prices. Only downside was the time it takes to order when queuing at the bar. Will try the table ordering app next time. Good cocktail menu helped keep the wife happy.
Beautiful food really friendly staff especially Mandy and a great atmosphere and a massive plus for us dogs are allowed will definitely be back.
Excellent once again, great quality and value food. always very accommodating, and happy to help with any dietary concerns. Everyone who came with me had come for the first time , and all were saying how great the place and food were, and how we are going to recommend to others , so i think a big pr
Meals are very well priced, quite extensive menu to offer various tastes. Friendly staff. Clean . Like to go when it’s not too busy. So the 12 slot is great
Staff polite, lovely quiet restaurant and food always good. Plenty of parking, seating available outside plus cozy fireplace for a cold evening. Fajitas delicious, mixed grill really tasty and Eton mess to finish. Only markdown was because we tried to get plates taken away for 40minutes but ignore
Love this pub, come here at least once a week. Its a great family pub with lots of choice of food and drinks both for adults and children. Great offers and a reward scheme. Myself and my family really enjoy coming here the staff are so friendly and helpful and always go the extra mile
The food was good, busy, bustling atmosphere in lovely surroundings. The food was served in a timely manner after order was given. Unfortunately, the orderly queue that took 16 mins to get a drink and announce that we'd booked a table was a drag. After selecting from the menu, another 15 minutes in
Fantastic food at an even better price, friendly and approachable staff. Really enjoyed our meal here
Really nice friendly atmosphere, food was excellent and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. A really nice evening, thank you! Disappointing too see 2 of your most popular lagers not available (Peroni & San Miguel) however plenty of other choice. Food took nearly an hour to arrive, we weren't i
Caz and her team are very welcoming. This was our first visit and it won't be our last. Breakfast was very well cooked, and a joy to eat. We were asked if everything was alright, offered more toast and tea/coffee. Just been refurbished to a high standard. Lovely big car park and gardens.
Went in again tonight as me and the family really enjoy going in there, food has never really been an issue to us in the and still isn't after the latest visit , My biggest concern is a member of staff that was there before the referb ( not many staff left from before the referb) is still there and
Just visited the newly refurbished red lion for breakfast. Place is lovely and bright, fresh and has a well throughout layout. Separate area for diners with dogs, and a smokefree beautiful decking seating area out front. Well done refurbishment. The food was served quickly and absolutely delicious,
