Really a great experience all round. Food fantastic and service great. Lovely to see youngsters enjoying and learning. The food was really top notch and the price very good for high end small plates.

Had a delicious afternoon tea here today. Really tasty sandwiches and nice cake selection. Staff were friendly and accommodating to the two babies who were with us - even bringing them each a biscuit to enjoy. Will definitely visit again.

Took my mum for a meal on tuesday for a special treat, the food was delicious, the students worked very hard and it was a lovely atmosphere in there . We left a generous tip which the tutor and student's were very grateful and explained what the tip money is used for so we were very impressed . Thanks for a lovely afternoon x

The food was so good, and it was the most interesting pudding I have eaten in my life. Was £19 for 3 courses, and had complimentary mulled wine, mince pies, coffee and crackers! I would give it 5 stars but obviously this is with students in training, so the service is a little clunky, but they are learning and it doesn't take away from the great food!

Went tonight for my 40th birthday treat from my friend Absolutely brilliant, the wine, the food and the service was 1st class Could not fault a thing! Will definitely be going back and would recommend to everyone which is exactly what I'm going to do 👍

We had our WI Christmas meal here on Tuesday 14th December and I congratulate Options on providing a Covid safe environment . We all lateral flow test before meeting indoors and our table was distanced from other diners who were also nicely spaced from others. As requested we wore masks until seated and the attentive staff all wore masks for the whole of the time of our visit. Delicious food, sorry no pictures. I’m not usually keen on sprouts but their s were soft on the outside and deliciously crispy on the inside. Delicious soup for starters and a delightfuly light panacotta with berries for desert. Ten out of ten for presentation and taste. We ll definitely be back.

I have been to Origins on a few occasions and find the food exceptional. As a training facility for young people entering the catering business it’s first class. The students and staff are always attentive and courteous. Being able to offer vocational courses such as this is, in my mind, a very important part of our educational system and one that must be maintained.

Origins hosted a 50th birthday party for us and we were delighted by the whole evening. The menu catered for all, special dietary needs were met, requests accommodated with great charm and kindness. The food was excellent and served with great care and aplomb by the students. Dan in the kitchen and Angie on front of house are outstanding tutors to the young people. They provided us with a very special occasion.

Have visited a number of times now for functions. The venue is a very nice and modern. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. Only criticism would be the portions for mains are a little small and and could do with another member of staff or two to serve.

We had our wedding reception here for 30 to 40 guests and the staff couldn't have done more for us. They happily catered for my now wife, who is on the forks over knives diet which if aren't familiar, means she can't eat dairy, meat, fish, oils or processed foods. They took this into consideration and prepared her a dish consisting of mushroom risotto, a breadcrumb style cauliflower, roasted pine nuts and kale and oil free samosas. The room was beautifully laid out and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional throughout. The buffet food we asked for was prepared to such a fantastic standard and the wedding cake feature piece they created was something else! It was a croquembouche with sugar spun rings layered up the tower. They made this from fresh, just for our reception and it looked amazing. Thank you very much for all you did for us, we will treasure our memories of the occasion. Highly recommend.
