Absolute gem of a pub/restaurant, place gets very busy at times due to the excellent offers and out of this world food. Highly recommend the 2 for £12 cocktails. We had food on the Wednesday evening as no offers on food due to our son having autism and needs a quieter calm environment. Staff are very polite, friendly and efficient. Well behaved dogs are also welcome inside the bar area or in dog friendly restaurant area. Booking is advised due to the popularity of this totally amazing place. Stopped for a late Sunday meal on the way from North Wales. We were seated very quickly despite we didn't have a table reservation and the restaurant was very busy.
The staff was very welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful.
Great menu and reasonable prices. Despite it was very busy the meals were served promptly. All were beautifully presented and very delicious, especially Gambas as pil pil, Moroccan lamb, roast Mediterranean vegetables and Crème Brûlée.
The place looks like a good standard local pub from outside but don't be fooled - it's beautifully decorated inside. Very warm, cosy, modern and inviting decor.
Reasonably big car park in front and another brownie point for dogs allowed policy.
Overall, very impressed with the place and delicious food, recommended!
Came here and had a lovely meal. The staff were brilliant - really friendly and we were very well looked after.
The environment was really nice, very clean and well kept. It was a pleasant atmosphere with the kitchen open so that you could see everything that was going on - the chefs and the waiting staff didn't stop! (But always had smiles on their faces and were there to make you feel well looked after).
We had hanging kebabs which were novel, but there were at least two more items on the menu which I really fancied as well - the variety was great.
They also had a kids play barn outside. We didn't use it this time so not sure what it is, but will likely let the kids out to check it out when we come back and have more time here.
We booked ahead, but there looked like there was plenty of room. Also had outdoor space which would be great in the summer.
Not a bad price - had light menu items for about £8 a dish, larger mains for between 16 and 20 and there were plenty of menu options such as 2 courses for about £18. The food and environment was great do it felt like it was all well worth the money.
We had 4 adults meals, two kids meals and some deserts with a few drinks each for about £150. Will definitely go back again.
