Very open plan airy restaurant. Staff friendly and attentive. We had the set lunch at Β£12.95 for 3 courses. Food was fresh and beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.
Absolutely amazing experience here last night best meal iv ever had. Booked table online for our anniversary got here n on table was a bunch of flowers n a balloon. On arrival took to table and got brought a glass of champagne each on the house to celebrate then had a free oyster each to try which were amazing.
We had mussells to share for starter then whole lobster which was truly wonderful best thing ever tried and a fish mixed grill to share all amazing. Went on a Monday and main courses were bogof which was a real bargain felt guilty paying that much for what we had well worth full price.
Staff were lovely and so so helpful, friendly and had time to talk to you. Really nice chilled out restaurant with all fish on show and open kitchen so you can see everything being cooked.
Definitely going back asap thank you so much to all of the staff for making our night really special.
The food was great, service as well. All of the dishes we ordered looked well presented and proper portion sizes. A large menu to select from as well as a Christmas Menu. I would come back here again.

I was unsure to eating lobster even though i had always wanted to .. the staff gave me a taster and i then ordered the lobster it was excellent and then tried oysters for the first time time .. give it a go you will enjoy it ππ

Lunch menu excellent value at 10.95 for two courses, 12.95 for three with a 175cl of wine for an added Β£2. Welcomed pleasantly, staff efficient. Short wait for food to arrive. Fish soup starter and salmon fishcake main were both tasty , well cooked and presented attractively. You must ask for the lunch menu , it isn't automatically brought to the table but it offers a good choice at a good price.
Amazing food. The choice of starters and main courses was excellent and they all sounded so good. What we ordered was near perfect. I had prawns to start and then fish and chips for my main. Omnomnom! The chips are particularly good.
The atmosphere was good and the staff could not be more helpful. This place is well staffed too, so there's no waiting around for service.
The only downside that I can think of is that deserts didn't really sound that interesting to me, but that's just personal taste. What was on the menu did look good though.
Overall, could not recommend more.
Have visited this restaurant a few times and is a reliably good place to eat. Food and service always done well. Had the whole baked lobster and it was very tasty. At a time when it feels like lots of other restaurants are fumbling around for a gimmick to set them apart, this is assured in knowing what it wants and what it does. Oysters are a particular treat here if you are looking for a suggestion.
Had a great time here. Went on a Sunday so it was quite quiet. The waitress was lovely, very friendly and the service was fast. Really nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and some very tasty cocktails & mocktails too! Will definitely go again!
