Wow Lyons den never disappoint and always give a fantastic dining experience. The setting is so quirky yet modern you instantly feel relaxed. You are always greeted with a hello and a smile and an ever willing employee to take you to a table and take and order for drinks. Service with a smile !!! And nothing is to much to ask for. What sets this place apart is the food!!!! These burgers are the best in Shropshire by far. From the brioche bun to the steak patty all with endless toppings to suit the most difficult of customers. From pulled pork to chicken to onion rings to double burger patty!!!. Not only are they absaloutely to die for care is taken to use fresh ingredients and a real effort is put into making sure that the side s compliment the mains endless variety's of burger variation/ cheese selection rivaled by no other. Forget biggies diner smoke stop etc this is the place to be!!!!! Lyons den really is the burger king!!!!!!!!

The best burger I have ever tasted. I opted for the Lyon's Burger, it was incredible. The atmosphere is great and staff very attentive. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

We dined as a party of three, the service was prompt, helpful and friendly. We skipped starters and had three different burgers with different variations on the fries. I had the Lyon burger with cheesy jalepeno fries, it was very tasty. One of the others had the Salopian burger which came with a blue cheese dip for the fries. The dip was amazing. The drinks were good and not too expensive for a town centre restaurant. All in all a good time was had by all and the bill wasn’t too bad, working out at between Β£20-Β£30 per person with drinks. Just a note of caution, there are a lot of stairs inside so would be difficult for those with mobility issues.

Really enjoyed our meal at the Lyons’ Den. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt very well looked after. We didn’t get our waiters name but he was really nice and the offer for disposable cutlery instead of regular was a nice touch. Really cosy and unique spot and the brickwork was really nice to see. Will definitely come again next time we are in Shrewsbury.

This is a place to visit! The resteraunt is situated in an old underground brick tunnel that used to be used to as stables for the horse-drawn wagons bringing goods to the town. The restaurant has retained as much a possible of the original brickwork, including part of the 14th century town wall. The atmosphere is great. Each table is placed in a small alcove, making it quite intimate. The brick tunnel ceiling is low, and the lighting and decoration are sympathetic. There is a good selection of starters. We had frickles (deep-fried pickles), which were lovely. There is a wide selection of burgers and some non-burger options. I had the Lyon Burger, which came with american cheese, mushrooms, and fried onions. All burgers come with twice fried chips and a little bit of salad. The burger was really tasty and i enjoyed mine very much. To make it perfect, it just needed to be a bit thicker and a little pinker. Very wide range of drinks of all sorts, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Our waitress was really nice, informative and friendly. The prices are a little higher than a high street burger bar, but the food and location are worth every penny.

By far, the best Burger in Shrewsbury. We have eaten here countless times and loved it each and every time. Seriously, try their mozzarella dippers, onion rings and frickles! Their cheesecake is also homemade, last nights was crunchie which was served with crunchie ice-cream. Fantastic! The service is always fantastic too.

Found this place when searching for places to eat. It looked a bit suspicious when you get to the door as you have to walk through tattoo parlours & salons to get to the actual restaurant. However, don't be put off by this! I rarely ever leave a review but this place was amazing!! Hands down the best burger I've EVER had! I would highly recommend visiting this place πŸ‘πŸΌ

Really enjoyed my visit today. Great burgers, fabulous fries and that garlic dip... Mmmmmm The restaurant is hidden away in a basement and really cosy. Update: Visited again today and wow the burgers are good here. Also one of the nicest Mochas I have had in a long time. A must visit in Shrewsbury.

Such a cute little place! Arrived at 1pm, without a booking but this wasn't a problem. Good COVID-19 precautions in place, with a one way system and staff wearing masks. Service was so quick, staff very friendly and good was so delicious!! Not local, but would definitely make the trip up here again just for this place!
