We had our wedding breakfast at the alb and we couldn’t be more happier with how it all went. Cameron and the team were efficient as always and made everything like we requested. The alb is our favourite place in Shrewsbury so to invite our 40 guests here was the best decision and location is wonderful as we had our ceremony at the Shrewsbury Castle. Food and drinks are always top notch and we and our guests were well impressed. Could recommend to anyone for whatever occasion!
Visited in March for a friends Birthday and did a Cocktail Masterclass with Tom, Absolutely amazing experience, We all thoroughly enjoyed it, Tom was really knowledgeable and passionate.
Between the 7 of us we all made 2 cocktails each after starting off with a welcome drink, We was able to tell Tom the type of cocktails we individually likes and all made 2 delicious cocktails each to match our requirements.

Love the Alb. Always have a great service here and the food and drinks are always fantastic. Visited today for afternoon tea for a friends birthday and it was perfect. Cameron who was serving us, was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this place and always visit for a drink when I'm out in Shrewsbury.
Came here for the cocktail afternoon tea and I must say it was the best afternoon tea I've had the food was lovely and the cocktails were great and the service was fab thanks for a great experience will definitely be coming back for afternoon tea again
Had a first ever meal here today at lunch time, waiter was fabulous, friendly, helpful. Food was amazing.

My sister choose here for her hen do which wad small and more tamed. We were given the snug little room and it was perfect.
Food was very nice (chips a little salty for me) but pizza good. Cocktail were good too.

Had a lovely evening tapas was something special, the food here really is worth trying and I've eaten most places in Shrewsbury. Drinks very reasonable and the staff super friendly can not praise this place enough, also music great not too loud but just right to enjoy with great food and drink, thanks alb we shall return 😃
What a great start to an evening out! Had a selection off the tapas menu and is was superb, especially the pork belly bites 😋 all washed down with some cocktails!
The service was excellent too. We rang and booked the food in advance as we were going on to another venue and it was all served up within minutes of our arrival as promised.
Well worth a visit!
Went for lunch so can't comment for the rooms. However, they have a new cocktail menu which is absolutely amazing. My other half tried the wokou which comes in a Chinese to go style box and it tastes amazing, definitely recommend the beef tacos and beer combo too.

Great spot for first drink off the train and a quick munch. Great decor, nice staff, good tapas and nice selection of beers and cocktails. Seats outside that get the sun in the afternoon with lots to see, river, bus station and hustle and bustle of Shrewsbury. Well done guys. Mint boozer
Enjoyed a lovely meal here it appeared to be incredibly busy but were shown to a table upstairs which was much quieter service was great and the food delicious. Would recommend it.
WOW! Amazing tapas. Staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough. Will definitely be coming back for the pork belly and the 'Piggy Fries'
Cool place with lots of side rooms and a ‘secret’ garden to make yourself comfortable in. Good selection of drinks. Must come back for food!

Great 2 night stay - rooms all you need - we had one with 2 double beds - GREAT.
Near parking, station, town centre, will defiantly be our go to place when in Shrewsbury £207 for 2 people 2nights B&B - bargain - breakfast and other food great we ate here twice.

We had a Christmas meal here last week. The food and cocktails were exceptional. However, the room our group was put in was freezing. We literally ate in coats and scalfs. We did enquire about the heating to be told it is on and 'its just an old building'. So, unfortunately, I would not return here again if it was a cold day. The staff provided an exceptional service, we could not fault them.
Food was amazing, cocktails were spot on, staff were fantastic and really attentive. Ben was hilarious, he's doing a fab job 👍👍👍
