Having been brought up in Shrewsbury, I have eaten every type of breakfast in every type of eatery in the town over the years. I can hand on my heart say that CSons certainly do the best breakfast that I've ever had the joy of eating. It is 'that' good! From the way it's presented, down to the taste of each individual piece of Heaven on the plate (the egg needs a special mention, as does the chilli dip) .. Superb! I'll be back .. and again .. and again, of that: you can be certain.
My friend and I were in town and she mentioned this restaurant she'd seen on fb. So we google mapped it and found this lovely building! We were greeted with smiles and shown to our window seat table. We browsed the menu and didn't really understand what each dish was; luckily the fabulous waitress simplified it for us! Well, I immediately instagrammed my meal! It was so colourful and beautiful. Each bite was packed with flavour! Portion size was great. The price was also amazing, two meals and Grigio for less than £30.
My friend and I will definitely be returning!

Had breakfast here this morning at 9.15. On arrival the staff admitted to having a "surprise table of 20" arrive before us but were cathing up. Our drinks and food arrived very quickly - super impressed - other establishment's would have used this as an excuse for slow service but not here. The breakfast was delicious, probably the best I've ever had, really enjoyed the little twists like chorizo sausage and the herbs on the mushroom. Fab coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. A taste sensation. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the fantastic Indian food on Saturday evening at my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff (particularly Emma) were great and really helped to ensure that everything ran effortlessly – our friends & family were full of compliments; Mum & Dad’s anniversary will certainly be one to remember!

An excellent meal which was healthy and had fresh ingredients and was completely different to anywhere else in Shrewsbury . Service was polite and very good .would recommend it .

Really wonderful! Visited yesterday for lunch with boyfriend on his birthday, we had the burger with salad and roast potatoes, everything was simply sublime!!

We had booked to go to the jazz night at The Hive and decided to make a night of it and have a meal first. Looking on Google Maps we saw that CSONS was just a few yards down the road and had a good review so booked and what a good choice. Limited menu but so so different and fantastic flavours. My wife had the burger and enjoyed every bite. I had the Mexican lamb which reminded me of Greek Lamb Kleftiko but with an undertone of Mexican spices.

Really nice place. Very high quality ingredients that you can taste. I had the full English and it came with a home made brown sauce which was a new thing for me. The sausage was nice and there was also a chorizo patty which was a bit different. Nice service and good atmosphere. I would recommend booking ahead.
Went for our first meal here, and it certainly won't be our last. The lamb was exceptional, with a depth of flavour and cooked to perfection, while the Nigerian-Inspired spicy sauces on the purple sprouting broccoli was a great combination. Being able to have two "small plates" for a main meant we could try out a wider variety of dishes, and none of them disappointed. Really good!
Visiting Shrewsbury for the weekend and really lucky to have been recommended CSONS. Had a delicious and quite eclectic dinner with the highlights being the lamb and the Thai style fish. Great service, plenty of variety and strong flavours. Would definitely recommend to others!

First time feeding! This was a place I’d never been to before but had heard lots of good things about so was very happy to be going at last. And it was not a let down. Nice balance of different flavours, with various dishes cheese meat and veggies. Did not disappoint one bit and can’t wait to go back for Breakfast as that looks lush too. Super service as well. Really interesting food and lovely lovely service! The perfect place for my birthday lunch, couldn’t fault it. Had been worried when booking as there was a line about needing the table back in an hour and a half and I knew we’d take longer but when it came to it they couldn’t have been more accommodating, let us have our leisurely lunch and even added a birthday candle to my delicious mousse cake dessert! Loads of gluten free options. Fully recommend!
The food at this place is AMAZING!!! Each dish made of well flavoured and thought out elements, put together beautifully so it is balanced. The menu doesn't do the food justice. We enjoyed our meal so much we didn't want it to end!
The food here is always fab! Had 6 small plates between 3 and they were all delicious 😋 The orange and marmalade cake for pudding was great too.
