Lovely pub to arrive at after a long country walk. We sat in the bar and the menu was limited but delivered on everything we hoped for. Roast beef X 2, my good man! Great service delivered quickly. The beef was delicious, as was everything else on the plate. Will definitely return and may check out
Excellent English Rose wine (very dry), called Ellie, here at The Samuel Palmer. Quality food, all fresh local ingredients, in a beautiful high-ceiling barn. Better for older children 12+. Friendly atmosphere.
Wow, fantastic pub in a beautiful village. Cant remember having better pub food in UK. Had smoked trout starter and roast lamb main, both of which were outstanding. The service was really excellent too.

This was such a pleasant surprise, in a tiny village to have a restaurant of this quality! Really great wines to go with it, I'll make sure to try the local wines next time. Even the kids menu looked good. My only tiny bit of critique would be that the croquettes could use a bit more salt , but the
