Took a stroll with the wife through Shoreham the other day & went into this lovely pub for something to eat. Unfortunately, the food had finished, but the owner was such a lovely charming woman. She told us to ring next time to book a table, which I'll be doing in the near future, probably on a Sunday for some lunch!!! Well, it's worth a visit if you're in the area.
First visit but won't be last. Good range on menu. All freshly cooked with quick efficient service. Great welcoming staff. Nice place to visit. Parking a bit of a problem, though you could be lucky and find a space in the car park!!
Food, was delicious. Freshly prepared and catered for a variety of requests.
It is also nestled in the village of Shoreham kent surrounded by lovely walks and interesting architecture.
Have been to the crown a few times now. Love going on a Sunday. Me mum says it's the best roast dinner ever !!! Sarah is so welcoming and all the bar staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.. Would definitely recommend. .
Really good pub grub. Was the perfect pit stop from our walk from lullingston and back. Service and staff were excellent too.

Such a beautiful old England pub!! Very welcoming and service with a smile. We were lucky to have a sunny warm day so chose to sit in their lovely garden. We had a very nice delicious sandwich which we enjoyed very much.
The pub also welcomes dogs which was an added bonus!!! They also have a great choice of hot meals.
We can't wait to go back!

a very nice pub with accommodating staff and a friendly atmosphere. i thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and would definately go back. i am a vegan, yet they still have me more than one option as to what i could eat, and an option for a dessert. excellent overall.
Nice country pub. I had a pint and a side of chips, my only comment is the side of chips was small for the price, must have worked out about 20p per chip!
